Incredible service from start to finish!

I was experiencing some extreme vibration in the back of my car and went in to find my rear right shock was completely blown! Scott White, the Store Manager, was able to get it replaced and an alignment done all within the same day. He took great care of me and my car and I'm incredibly grateful.

Excellent customer service

I highly recommend brakes plus Lewisville Texas. I was needing rear brakes so I made an appointment. Cam was my representative, he got my car in right away, explained my quote, and checked on me as I was waiting in their reception area. Everyone was very professional. I also really felt at home there and felt like I could trust them and that’s really a hard thing to find nowadays.

More Than an Oil Change — This is How Local Business Should Be Done

I came in for a routine oil change and regular maintenance — first time at this Cedar Falls, Iowa location — and I have to say, I was genuinely impressed from the moment I walked through the door.Let me start with Lee at the front desk, because he absolutely deserves to be called out by name. This guy is a rockstar. While I was standing there, the phone was ringing almost every five minutes — customers calling to schedule appointments — and Lee was handling every single call with professionalism and a calm, friendly demeanor, all while simultaneously checking in a customer at the counter who was dropping off their keys. No fumbling, no frustration, no dropped balls. He managed it all like it was second nature. It's rare to see someone that composed and competent in a customer-facing role, and it did not go unnoticed.But here's what really sealed the deal for me. While I was waiting, I watched the staff — and what I believe was the owner or GM — go completely out of their way to warmly welcome an 84-year-old woman who came in with her dog. Apparently she visits nearly every day, or at least every week. And the way they treated her? With genuine warmth, respect, and joy — like she was family. Nobody put on a show for her. You could just tell this is simply who these people are.That right there tells you everything you need to know about the character of the people running this place.I'll be honest — I usually go elsewhere for my oil changes. But not anymore. If you're local to Cedar Falls, do yourself a favor and give these folks your business. You won't regret it. And when you walk in, ask for Lee. You'll see exactly what I'm talking about.

We already had an estimate from another…

We already had an estimate from another nationwide chain. We didn’t feel right about it so we made an appointment for the free brake inspection and alignment check. We were correct. One of the stated repairs was not necessary. We got only the work done that was needed and saved a lot of money. Everyone is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable .

Expensive Estimate for Basic A/C Hose Replacement

Went in for an A/C inspection because a day earlier it was working fine and blowing cold. BP did the dye test and found High Pressure Discharge Hose to have a leak at connection point. Disappointed that the technician suggested that I also replace the compressor and condenser. I asked why and he said it was recommended and that was his only explanation. I understand the A/C working parts, but I feel sorry for the unsuspecting consumer who is depending on their knowledge. A very costly repair for no apparent reason, I declined. The BP estimate to replace the hose was $1,195.99. I went elsewhere and received an invoice for $532.00, and my A/C blows cold and perfect. I do not like car service companies to try to find something wrong. I paid $99 for a dye test, nothing else was checked at BP. The part that needed replacement was estimated at $400 by BP and my cost for the exact part was $111. Big mark up on parts and labor at BP. They didn't even apply my $20 coupon I presented when scheduled online. Got to be competitive and consumer oriented.

Fast service

Fast service, cooperative staff and better prices. This was my second experience with them, i was satisfied by how fast they got my car fixed and they have better prices as well. I would highly recommend checking them out.

I am just amazed with the…

I am just amazed with the professionalism at Brakes Plus. I had thought I had a brake problem. The tech, Yoshi, found out that in my visit to get a trailer wiring issue done, the mechanic set the parking brake just enough for it to drag. I was not charged a single penny for them to check out and find my issues. Boy, I will definitely be a customer of there from now on!

No longer providing good customer service

My experience has not been good on a couple of occasions now. It used to be great but not anymore. I made an appointment for an oils change for both of my vehicles. As I work full time, I took off to have this work done. I showed up in time for my appointment. They said it would take an hour maybe an hour and a half at the most. I waited and waited and got no update. I finally went in and they hadn’t even started on my car after 2 1/2 hours this messed up my entire day and the schedule that I put together. This is the second time that this has happened to me and I find it extremely irritating that I make an appointment yet they people who walk in get put in before me. There is no explanation other than I’m sorry. Well this business has lost my business and I’m taking my business elsewhere going forward. I’m not sure what the point of making an appointment is when they take people who come in at who don’t have one before you.On

Kelly was great

Kelly was great! My appointment started right on time and they fixed some major issues on my 2003 Subaru in one day. She explained everything, sometimes twice and kept me posted about my wait time. Great Service and Customer Service!
