RIPPED ME OFF

RIPPED ME OFF. Order shipped in January 2026, today is March 14th... but no shoes have been delivered. Funds taken out of my account...nothing. Go to the website, it's shut down. Go to tracking and it has expired. I have reached out, and no response. Thank you In Style for your peddling of sketch merch.

Unresponsive Customer Service / Unwearable Boots

I ordered a pair of OCA Therma High All Teak Suede Boots, which were very expensive. I never received an order number but suddenly the boots arrived. Unfortunately, they are unwearable because they are not fully lined with the fleece as shown on their website, and the seam across my toes is super sharp. I contacted Cariuma because I was unable to process a return without an order number. Despite my constant numerous attempts to connect with them, no one ever responded. So, I spent $160 for nothing. Buyer beware!

Radio Silence and an unfulfilled order I paid for

I've ordered from cariuma 3 separate times. The first two times I had great customer service: fast shipping times and both pairs were super cute and super comfortable. My two favorite pairs of shoes. Having worn through one completely, I went to buy a backup on 12/7. The order was confirmed, my credit card was charged. I never received any shipping indication. On 12/20, I went to the site for help tracking my order and saw they were no longer taking new orders, just fulfilling existing ones. I used the customer care widget, the only means for contact to request an order status update. I never received a response. I reached out via social media in comments and in messages. No response. On 12/27, I reached out to the site yet again. And to social media. To this day, 2/4, I have received no response, no order update and no shoes. Pretty sure they took the money and ran.

I received a pair for Christmas

I received a pair for Christmas, they are too big, have been trying for 2 weeks to contact them for an exchange and no one is responding. Their website is shut down. Now I have an expensive pair of shoes that are too big to wear.

Never received my shoes

Ordered 2 pairs on 17 November, have not received the shoes or had any response from customer service via email or social media, despite multiple messages and them still posting on Instagram up until 6 days ago.

Poor quality, terrible service

I purchased my first pair of Cariuma shoes in 2022. They were comfortable and seemingly of reasonable quality. In mid-2025 I purchased 3 more pairs. For context, I'm a middle-aged man, not a skateboarding teenager. I wear my sneakers casually with jeans, shorts, and chinos for walking about town, typically in dry weather. After about 6 months of very light use, 2 of 3 pairs are already falling apart, one of them catastrophically. The entire sole of the shoe has come unglued from the upper, making them unwearable and frankly, unrepairable. Another one of the 3 pairs shows signs of coming unglued in various parts of the sole also. I understand there can be bad runs and I contacted customer care with photos of the problem. I made no demands, hoping for some kind of accommodation due to the shoe falling apart completely. The company did not acknowledge my emails clearly sending the message that they do not stand behind their products.In the end, my conclusion is that the company focuses more on marketing and sales of a cheap, poorly made product. Fast fashion at it's worst - makes their claims about having a strong sustainability ethic very suspicious as the low quality product just ends up in landfill. Lots of direct to consumer options these days, and there is a shift towards longer-lasting high quality products. Cariuma is a joke.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased 7 pairs of shoes from them on December 13th. It was an end of year sale and so when they shipped on December 22nd, well after their policy of shipping, I gave them a break because I imagined they were slammed with orders. Originally it showed that the order would arrive just before XMas, but I figured it would be after and was fine with that. Then I got an email saying it would be delivered by GOFO on XMas Day. It wasn't delivered. In fact when I called GOFO 4 days later they said they would put in a request to redeliver the package, and that it looked like the package was too big for their delivery truck. That made no sense to me that it could be delivered but the person told me the vehicle sizes varied. Again about 4 days later nothing changed and I called again. It turns out that they were in the process of shipping the package back to CA because the package was too big and that I should reach out to Cariuma. And that of course is a problem because I can never either get a response or it seems like the response is automated and has nothing to do with my actual questions. So it is now 1/8/26 and I've sent 6 messages to Cariuma and have yet to had a real person respond to my message. While this might be an exception to what is normal, the company is the worst I have ever dealt with for customer service because you can't actually speak or communicate with a real person. Don't waste your time, the shoes can't make up the difference for a shitty company.

Poor quality shoes and even worse customer service

I bought a pair of shoes from them and experienced issues with the shoe falling apart less than 6 months later after only moderate wear. I contacted customer service with my concerns and after they responded asking for pictures, they proceeded to ignore all communication. This company does not stand by their product.

BEWARE: I've ordered 2x with no shoes to show for it.

I ordered from Cariuma for the second time on 11/20. I received a shipping confirmation on 11/26. It's 12/29 and no shoes. I've sent numerous emails and texts trying to get an update. No response. The first time I ordered from them was in September before I left for a trip. Their website states orders ship in 1-2 days. Not in my experience. A week later, the shoes still hadn't shipped. I had to cancel the order so the shoes wouldn't arrive when I was gone. At least then customer service responded. This company has some incredible marketing and pr - it completely sucked me in! And while I can't speak to the shoes since they've been a no-show, as a company that is primarily an online retailer, it is disastrous shipping and customer service that I associate with the Cariuma brand. Order at your own peril... there are so many better options out there.
