Buyer be ware

Buyer be ware. Do not download the Base crypto wallet. It has a security flaw that allows permission contract phishing without your knowledge. I lost over $500 in etherium, and the Coinbase support was like 'oh well' you crypto is gone. Nothing we can do about it. Cheers

Don't invest anything with them, and don't lose your moneyI have a screenshot of the fake currencies that scammers to use on their platform so they can steal more money. They have the worst support ever; they are all thieves. I have all the evidence if you trust pilot, allow me to put it I will put it with pleasure hereI noticed from their previous replies that they look like innocent beware of them. Don't do something you will regret later. Once you lose your money, you cannot get it back

WARNING: Coinbase Withholding Funds & Denying Proven iDEAL/Wero Deposits

Be warned: Coinbase is currently withholding my funds from a verified iDEAL/Wero deposit (ID: 2KH49DWD7K). Despite providing bank-stamped proof of delivery to their authorized settlement IBAN (DE75...19190), support is providing false information and denying receipt.Under PSD2 law, payment to their processor (PPRO) is legal receipt by Coinbase. They have my money but refuse to credit it. I have officially reported this to the Dutch Central Bank (DNB) and PPRO Compliance. I am also filing a police report for embezzlement (verduistering). If you value your money, stay away. This is not a "delay"; this is an unlawful withholding of assets.--Support: Full Chat History is available on request

If I could give them a zero I would

If I could give them a zero I would. I could see my account in real time get hacked and assets sold off. I reached out to coinbase about it and they said not to worry, my account is locked and all the funds are there safe b/c the account is locked. After I buy a camera for my computer to take a pic of ID and scan face there software would not except it b/c it was to blurry on their end. Eventually I unlock my account to see all of my money has been stolen. So I go through ID check and facial scan to open my account, but the hackers did not have to show ID or go through facial scan to withdrawl my money. Liquidating 99% of my account, withdrawing the money to a bank account that is not associated with my coinbase account, and not even in the State I live in wasn't enough of a RED FLAG for coinbase to ask the hackers for ID or facial scan. Then after I unlock my account Coinbase says they will refer me to an agency to investigate the matter. I asked why wasn't I informed of this investigative team when I called to get my account locked, and coinbase said they can't refer me until I unlock my account and they need an ID and facial scan for that. So I need to show ID and facial scan to open my account and be referred to an investigative agency, but for hackers posing as me can deposit my money in a bank not associated with my account and in another State and there is no need for ID for this???? Plus the investigative agency is in the United Kingdom!!! This is a freaking joke, and all coinbase says is they are not responsible that it is the customers responsability to secure the account. I did have 2 factor identification too, and it failed. What a joke, $15k gone. This company does not protect your money!!!!! Willing to bet Coinbase gets this taken down, but it's the Truth.

Coinbase is the safest and easiest…

Coinbase is the safest and easiest Crypto Exchange to use. The Staking is very good. The platform is basic and simple so it doesn’t feel overwhelming to use.

Its scam

I Am sharing this based purely on my personal experience.I purchased several crypto tokens directly through Coinbase, believing that assets listed on their platform had been properly vetted and clearly categorized. As a retail investor, I trusted that tokens available for purchase within the Coinbase app carried a certain level of legitimacy and transparency. What I later discovered was extremely frustrating. Some of the decentralized tokens I purchased were later described by support as having “no value” on the blockchain. Yet these assets were available for purchase inside the Coinbase platform, and I received official receipts for every transaction. At no point during the buying process was there a clear distinction between fully supported, established assets and decentralized third-party tokens that may lack liquidity, recognition, or practical value. To an untrained investor, all tokens listed in the app appear equally legitimate. There is no meaningful separation between:Highly established digital assetsStablecoins with broad network supportThird-party decentralized tokensLow-liquidity or externally issued contractsIf Coinbase chooses to list decentralized tokens, there should be stronger disclosures, clearer labeling, and better education about network compatibility and potential risks. What added to my frustration was that when I contacted support multiple times, I was told that I may have purchased through an external wallet or another app — which is incorrect. All transactions were completed directly within my Coinbase account, and I have the receipts to prove it.My concern is not about market volatility. I understand crypto carries risk. My concern is about transparency and presentation. When assets are listed inside a centralized exchange interface without clear differentiation, it creates the impression of endorsement and proper vetting.Retail investors deserve:Clear asset classificationStronger risk disclosuresNetwork compatibility warningsAccurate support responsesI hope Coinbase improves transparency so future users can make informed decisions with a full understanding of what they are purchasing. These are my support tickets260902982610988726081373260812392607155926071148And nothing solved.
