What Shoppers Say About Cottonique
Cottonique has an extremely polarized customer base, rated 1.9 out of 5 by 16 shoppers. A small group of highly satisfied customers, particularly those with sensitive skin, praise the brand as uniquely effective for their needs and describe the clothing as genuinely hypoallergenic. However, the majority of reviewers report serious product and policy issues: customers consistently complain about a strong burnt rubber or chemical smell in items, especially in waistbands and drawstrings that contain rubber material; poor fit quality; limited size availability; and high prices. Additionally, many shoppers express frustration with restrictive return policies that only accept unopened items, making it nearly impossible to assess product quality before being locked into a purchase.
The most damaging complaints involve customers with fragrance and chemical sensitivities receiving fragranced products despite clear order notes, which directly contradicts the brand's core positioning. Return logistics are also problematic, with international and domestic returns taking weeks to process even when items are unopened. Multiple reviewers emphasize that the strong chemical odor makes some items unsuitable for use, effectively making returns impossible for those with the sensitivities the brand claims to serve. Prospective buyers should be aware that counterfeit versions appear to be sold through third-party marketplaces like Amazon.

That's on top of the $9 shipping you already paid just to get the item. If something doesn't fit and you need to exchange it, you'd have to pay that shipping fee again to send it back overseas where it comes from.
Got slapped with a $62 duty charge when I ordered from Canada. My first order didn't have any fees but the second one randomly did.
Placed my order almost 8 weeks ago and it still hasn't left their warehouse. To make it worse, they charged my credit card right away. I paid over $100 for merchandise I never received. That's fraud and it's illegal.
Bought underwear for my kid based on their sizing chart and it still came up too small.
