What Shoppers Say About Culpritunderwear
Culprit Underwear receives mixed reviews, with nearly half of shoppers giving five stars and praising the quality, design variety, and overall value of their products. Repeat customers highlight positive experiences and appreciate the company's efforts. However, a significant portion of reviewers report serious quality control issues, including underwear tearing quickly after purchase, inconsistent sizing between product runs, and poor durability that doesn't justify the premium pricing. Additionally, some shoppers have experienced frustrating customer service interactions, particularly regarding return policies and issues with store credit that failed to process properly.
Common complaints suggest that quality standards have declined over time, with shoppers noting that older purchases held up better than recent ones. Fit inconsistencies across different designs and sizing troubles have prompted some customers to explore alternative brands. While the company's transition to a new factory may explain current availability issues, customer service responsiveness regarding returns and compensation tracking appears to be an ongoing concern that affects overall satisfaction.

Sorted by: Most recentSomeone seriously needs to make better quality women's underwear. At this point I might just switch to buying men's. Why are brands selling us stuff that falls apart? I'm willing to spend extra for something that lasts. These fell short too and tore up right away. I had backup pairs so it wasn't terrible, but now I'm devastated because I opened a new pair straight from the packaging and it already had a hole in it. What's going on here?
Issues with their return policy. My wife really likes their women's line so I figured I'd give them a shot. Personally though, I like mine sitting higher on my waist. These sit really low and baggy, which I guess works for plenty of guys but not for me. After wearing one pair and realizing they weren't for me, I tried returning the rest. They refused both a return and refund.
Honestly, I'd give negative stars if I could. Back in early last year my order got cancelled because of warehouse issues. The team reached out offering either a refund or store credit worth double what I paid as compensation for the sale I missed out on. I took the credit option. When I went to use it a few months back, it simply wasn't there. I emailed the original thread about it and got nothing. Tried a separate customer support email and still silence. I've had to contact my credit card company about a dispute. These folks will keep your money and then ignore your attempts to resolve it. Find another brand to buy from.
I've been a repeat customer and have had good experiences. Looks like they're transitioning to a different factory right now so some items aren't available at the moment, but my recent orders went through without any problems.
Their quality control has definitely gone downhill. I bought some a year ago and they fit perfectly. Got the same size recently but in a different design and there's almost a two inch difference in the waistband and leg opening. The newer pair is way too snug. I even sized up from their online measurements since I prefer looser elastic. I checked the Better Business Bureau and saw they mentioned switching to overseas manufacturing, which is probably when things started falling apart. Not buying again from them. If I can't rely on consistent sizing when ordering more and there's no return option, what's the point? There are tons of one star reviews on their site mentioning the same sizing problems and they're not responding to comments on social media about it either.
Got a pair of the ladies boxer shorts for my wife and she really enjoys them. The designs are all different, all great quality, and this is a solid company overall.
Quality is just average, nothing that stands out. Fit works okay though. The problem is they start getting those little fuzzy balls after a couple wash cycles. The real issue though is shipping took forever, almost three weeks on my most recent order.
My go to underwear now for sure. Softest pair I've ever worn and the designs are fantastic. My wife had been wearing them for a while and signed me up for the membership as a gift. Wish she'd done it sooner because I love them. The prints are funny and comfy is an understatement. Honestly a 11 out of 10 and I won't wear anything else as long as they keep making them.
I've got their subscription and I absolutely love it. The prints are gorgeous and clever at the same time. Yeah they're a bit pricey but I had no idea what I was missing before trying them. Comfort is seriously on another level. The shark design is probably my favorite, though their incognito style is what I grab most often. Top pick in my collection right now.
Hands down the most comfortable underwear I've ever put on. I used to be strictly a cotton person, but switching to modal has been a game changer and I appreciate that it's environmentally better while staying just as breathable. I grabbed the Comfy Bra and Booty Shorts in Toasted Marshmallow plus the Comfy Bra and Lady Boxers in Cheetah. They recommended sizing up on the Booty Shorts and I'm glad they did since I preferred the fit with the lower rise. The material feels cozy enough for lounging but also gives enough support for workouts or wearing under regular clothes. Best part is it doesn't lose its shape like cotton tends to do over time. Everything came in the right size except the Booty Shorts which I went up to a Large following their guidance. Can't wait to see what designs they release next and I'm definitely stocking up on some black pairs too!
