I really thought I hit a good deal !! Unlimited home internet for 80$ and no wires. Boy i was wrong. I guess Unlimited in Earthlinks book is 500 gigabytes after that you have to pay something like a dollar a gig to add data. I only have a TV and two phones also and this was not good for me I endeded up paying my 80$ plus about 150$ more in added data. Mediacom is where it is at for high speed data but, you have wires and thier.like 140 a month.

Please do not sign up. Earthlink is a predatory service that runs on the back of Verizon's network. I'm not sure how this is legal. You will get the same service from verizon for cheaper. Earthlink is a predatory service. They promise you gift cards while signing up but never deliver and they charge a hefty fee to cancel. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Update on the situation with Earthlink. They sent me a return label to mail back my equipment, I slap it on the box, drop it off at the UPS store, thought everything was over. Nope, it shows up back at my door two days later. I call them to see what had happened, we couldn't figure it out so the customer service rep says they will resend a label and we will try again. I specifically asked her to note that I am attempting to return the router so as to not encure a $400 equipment fee to which she assures me that when the label is reprinted the clock for that fee resets. Not true. That was 5 days ago and I just got billed a $400 equipment charge. Even in cancelling they will try to take your money. Since Samantha responds quickly on here this is my first place to turn but Earthlink is getting a call tomorrow as well to try and figure out what the heck is going on.

Very upset customer . I was told on sales call that I will not be charged my 79.08 for the service if it doesnt work ....totally free to try. I also called 3 other times because when I received the modem It didn't work . All three times I was told to wait that satellites were down and continue trying for free. After 3 days there was no service so I returned the modem after speaking to a 4th rep that said I would get the full 79.08 refund (not the activation fee of 49.95 but the service fee of 79.08) The modem was returned and I waited extra time to make sure that the refund had not come in late. Well, lo and behold, I called today and was told I would only going to get HALF which was still never refunded. The rep stated that WE the customers are supposed to call back after modem is recieved to further ask for our refund?????!!!! What a scam!At this point I have realized this company is totally unethical .

After canceling my service last week, I received a message that they were gonna charge me for the unreturned modem that per their own email I have thirty days to return. After finally, getting a representative on the phone after an hour on hold, they told me they changed their policy to fifteen days. If you are lucky enough to get a representative English is not their first language. There is no integrity with this company. I would run the other way ...wish I had known this before hand!
