Tried to call them 3 times as there was…
Tried to call them 3 times as there was now information on caravan recovery. All I got was 'select this box if ypu tow a trailer'I was on hold for 1 hour each time and then they hung up. I need to cancel the policy when I get chance

Pile of crap this is a con not breakdown cover not worth the paper it is written on they do not recover they only tow you to nearest garage even if you have top cover nation wide cover does not mean take you to home only in town you are in this is a total waste of time even with top cover it is not worth the paper it is written on please do not use I have never felt more coned in my life and I’m not of dumb education this company are an absolutely con using and twisting words so you think you have cover this is not a breakdown company it is a total con

I've not used the service so far.
I've been with emergency assist now for a few years and if I've ever had to communicate I found them helpful and courteous. Fortunately I've never yet had to use it so I can't comment on how good the services when needed. I'm happy to pay the fee as it is very reasonable and hopefully I will never have to use it.

DO NOT USE! They may be inexpensive but the service provided reflects the cheap price. For a breakdown they will only deal with a non start or a tyre related issue. They will not deal with anything else. They will not diagnose any problem they just try to restart the vehicle or take you to a local garage. Also, if you request the car to be transported to a garage and once in attendance they do manage to start the car they will charge you £125. I recently had a problem where I mis fueled my car without realising it. They tried to start the car without success and I had the car transported to my local garage. Last week my battery failed and as this was classed as a non start, even though the cause of the non start was different, they would only come out if I paid £125. I bought a new battery instead. Before you buy into their service please consider: they are cheap for a reason. They are very limited in the service they offer. They will not diagnose any problem. All they will do is plug your car into a battery pack. Use a more reputable rescue service like the AA or RAC. They are more expensive but when you need real help they will provide the service you need. I am now cancelling my membership with Emergency Assist and joining either the AA or RAC.
