WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER…

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! I placed an order online for in-store pickup. In my confirmation email it said I would be notified when my order was ready for pickup. A day went by no follow-up email so I headed down to the store to check on my order. There the employee informed me they did not have the product in stock (I never to this day got an email telling me this) and therefore she had to cancel the order. She told me I should expect a refund in 2-3 days. A week went past with no refund. So I emailed their customer service twice with no response either time. Next I tried calling their customer service line. The representative was super impatient and bitter despite the fact that all I did was calmly explain what happened. She sounded like I was the one inconveniencing her and had to be the least friendly person to ever work in customer service. Anyways after all said and done still no refund or further communication from Famous Footwear. I am extremely disappointed with their service and am not sure what to do at this point. One things for certain I will never shop or recommend Famous Footwear to anyone.

I had a terrible experience at Famous…

I had a terrible experience at Famous Footwear in Auburn Mall. My wife was verbally disrespected and sworn at by a female associate with tattoos covering her arms over a sale price that was clearly displayed but had just expired. I’m noting these details so others know who I’m referring to.The assistant manager did nothing to intervene. Corporate only offered a coupon and “more training.” When we returned to use the coupon, the same associate told us we weren’t welcome and threatened to call the police.I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but I will never return to this location and strongly advise others to shop elsewhere. Truly sad and unprofessional.

Absolutely horrible customer service ……

Won’t correct wrong item sent

Ordered sneakers for a Christmas gift and received leather 4-inch heel knee high boots. Check receipt, item was correct in paper. When called customer service said they would not send correct item upon return of incorrect item. It was their mistake. They should make it right.

Different colors of the Birkenstocks Boston

I bought a Birkenstocks Boston and the color was Taupe. The colors were like 35% different color. you know what i mean? One was darker and the other was lighter.

Helpful customer support

My first order was missing a pair of shoes,(I ordered 3 pairs)that, for some reason were never shipped. But the phone customer support representative was quite helpful providing an instant refund and matching the price of the great deal I got on that order so that I could order the shoes again. Which I then received and ended up being great shoes of amazing quality at a great price. 🤩

I have had the absolute worst…

I have had the absolute worst experience with Famous footwear and will not be returning as a customer ever again! I ordered bluey sneakers for my toddler and they came damaged, so I had to go to the store to return them. They gave me a 20% off coupon for the inconvenience. I then ordered another pair using the coupon and some rewards, and that order was cancelled and no reason was given! I tried to reorder but now couldnt use the coupon nor my rewards. I called customer service twice, and though she gave me another coupon, she said she couldn’t help me with my rewards, so frustrating!!! Customer service is horrendous, and not toMention i still don’t have my refund from my second order! AVOID FAMOUS FOOTWEAR!

Ordered a pair of shoes for my…

Ordered a pair of shoes for my granddaughter for Christmas said they were in stock got confirmation would ship in 3-5 business days. 5 days later emailed order was cancelled shoe was out of stock. They were probably out of stock already. Now they have my money and I have to wait about 10 business day for a refund I something I never received. They should not charge my credit card till item is sent. Now I have to disappoint my granddaughter this Christmas. Thank Famous Footwear for disappointing a little girl.

I was in the north Myrtle Beach store…

I was in the north Myrtle Beach store (tanger outlet) they didn’t have the shoes my husband wanted so I ordered them. The first issue my email was not corrected when I gave it to her. The other issue is they canceled my order without letting me know. So my question is why did the place an order if they knew they didn’t have the product? Now I’m trying to track where my refund is because it didn’t return to my account.I am pleased with the other things I brought however Will not be shopping here again.

They are the absolute worst to order from

They are the absolute worst to order from. No one answers & will not answer no matter what you push to talk to. They took 6 days to answer my email and told me the shipping to ship back. That I had to pay to ship back. I had ordered two pair of shoes. My order had no shipping due to I had purchased enough. Then after they shipped I got an email saying they didn’t have one of my shoes the main ones I wanted. They only credited my account like $10 and some change. Charged me full price for the shoes I didn’t really want & shipping. They use to have a store local & figured I would take them back there. Well NO the store is closed. Now we are driving an hour from our house just to take them back because I’m that mad & will be angry every time I wear them. Once the shoes I didn't really want came in a faded box, they looked like someone has already worn them and brought them back. 5 scuffs on the one shoe. It’s nuts.
