They are ABSOLUTE CROOKS!! We missed our movie because their GPS link sent us a mile away from the theaters actual location. By the time we found it we were extremely late. We called Fandango to explain the situation and they would ABSOLUTELY NOT give any refund or exchange or take any responsibility. We attempted to speak to a manager and the same person came back on the phone now claiming they were the manager absolutely lying through her teeth!! Not matter what, not even being a loyal customer for over 20 years mattered to them. I explained they wouldn't stop me from getting a refund, that I would now just go thru my bank to do it and she hung up on me. NEVER NEVER NEVER use Fandango!! They are absolute thieves period!!

WARNING! They will take your money and when there is an issue they will never fix it! They also have their customer service agents in some random country asking you to verify your credit card information! SO SHADY!

I received a gift card for Fandango. Had to be used online. I ordered the tickets and put in the gift card #. It said gift card accepted, but still required a credit card. When I completed the transaction, it charged my credit card not the gift card. Since it was time for the movie, I didnt contact support til after. After long chats and phone calls they would not correct billing. So not only was I unable to use my gift card, I paid $4 more due to online fees. Dont purchase with Fandango. It is a rip off.

Recd $15 card from Red Cross (RC). Partially paid for movie tix. Had to change show time. Forfeited the $15 card credit. Notified RC of this occurrence. Fandango responded with apology & 2-$25 promo codes. Tried to redeem codes, only to be notified that they had expired. Notified Fandango (FD), asking for new codes. Cust Svc replies with, expiration is in the "Terms and Conditions" (T&C). Checked original promo code email, no mention or link to T&C. In the meantime, recd feedback survey request from FD. Clicked the link, only to be notified: "Thanks! Your feedback has already been received." Used FD's website contact form to notify them of the original issue and the bogus survey link. Recd reply, same T&C text has FD's first response. The people running this business just don't seem to care.

I wanted to see a movie and felt forced to order using their service. They automatically send you emails that are not possible to opt out of--clear behavior they do not care about their customer.

They have this weird police that, as they say, is stated it terms and condition policy that they take a service fee of 2.19$ that IS NOT stated in the initial payment check. So they basically just scam you and take your money.Wouldn't recommend buying fromthem

I wish I would have read the reviews first before I decided to use this site! Received a email promotion, two movie tickets for 20$ for being a Amazon prime member. I did not realize it was a discount of 20$ off the total purchase price of 2 tickets! Found a manatee move for 10$ a ticket, I only received 12$ credit off the 20$ i had purchased! When I contacted the customer service team, they said there was nothing they could do! This company is a joke from what I am seeing now. Hopefully they will soon go out of business, and now they have brought Amazon on board to help boost sales i guess. Good luck with that!

I was researching movie showtimes and made it to the checkout page on fandangos site. I was attempting to apply a promo for a free 7 day trial of their membership whereby they would waive convenience fees. When I finally recovered my account and logged in, it said I wasn't eligible. No problem. The website then glitched and in trying to scroll up, the page refreshed (I was on mobile) and it brought me to the pur hase confirmed page. Fandango refused to refund the tickets even though i contacted them one minute after this website error. They would only refund the amount before fees (fees being almost $8 on 3 tickets) and refused to refund the full amount unless I accepted it as credit. I dont want it because fandango is more expensive than buying directly from the theatre. I never authorized this transaction. Their agents kept getting disconnected without helping more than explaining the same policy over and over again. Absolutely horrible customer service- i never authorized the transaction and that should be clear on their end when I immediately initiated a support chat upon seeing they charged me. I never clicked confirm to confirm the purchase and have never had another company's website force me into a purchase I did not authorize.

I started with Vudu years ago which became Fandango. Over time I had accumulated 334 movies that I bought. Their latest move with Versant has totally screwed me. When Versant showed up either you had to agree to allow them to sell all of your info or you could not use the service. I had got in a email loop with them trying to resolve it, but they will not move. All I asked was for them to give me access to the movies I have bought which was not covered by their unfair requirement. I think they need to learn a lesson to protect others from their practices.
