FYT does not adhere to their policies

FYT does not adhere to their policies. I was charged an additional $176.00 for services not rendered. An initial phone consultation was considered to be a full workout with the personal trainer I chose to work with. After I cancelled, according to the FYT policy, I was charged for an additional session at $176.00.Here's how it went:Jan 16 - Initial Phone ConsultationFeb 7 - SessionFeb 14 - SessionFeb 20 - Subscription cancelledFeb 21 - SessionFeb 28 - Session scheduled online by trainerMarch 6 - Trainer confirmed session had been cancelled on Feb 26FYT refuses to issue credit or send refund.Please, do not employ FYT if you are searching for a personal trainer. They do not honor their policies.

You will be charged again unexpectedly

If you think you’re purchasing a set amount of sessions, it’s actually a subscription, and the moment you book your last session you will get charged for that amount again. In order to cancel your “subscription” you have to email them. There is no button to do so because they want to make it as difficult as possible at the sacrifice of their customer’s experience. Shady and unethical. Will never use again.

Develop your business elsewhere

Am a trainer for 8+ years and have been on and off with this site, never really got many clients through it. Most recent client i had to wait over 2 weeks to get paid. First Rep didnt fix the payment issue, 2nd one didnt either with the third try finally fixing the issue. Fast forward to my next client obtained through the site, they schedule to have me meet up with less than 24hrs notice! I use to have a 24hr or more advanced notice to schedule but the site is always changing things so apparently that got changed without me knowing. To top it off the Rep from the app starts HARASSING me and THREATING to unlist my profile since im not responding fast enough. Being on vacation during this whole event really left a bad taste in my mouth so told them to go ahead and unlist me from there site, waste of time and mental energy

Disappointed! My amazing trainer (who I have been…

My amazing trainer (who I have been working with since 2012) switched me over to FYT years ago. I recently found out that there was confusion over the payment system and how much was owed to him. It was upsetting to hear that from a dedicated coach and trainer who has brought me back from 2 shoulder replacements and spinal fusion.

As a personal trainer on this website I…

As a personal trainer on this website I found it very disappointing. I have been on this website for a few months now. I have pictures and had several reviews from my non FYT clients yet have never received an inquiry or client. I have tried searching for trainers in my area using another email and I don't even show up as a match. The way I answered the quiz questions and the area I am in....I should definitely show up. I have had others do they same and I don't show up in anyone's search.

Dead platform

I’m a trainer on the platform and have been listed for over a year. My credentials and experience alone put me well ahead of most other trainers on the platform right off the bat. Spent money to have professional headshots done since they reject selfies or action shots, they claim more pictures will help boost your visibility and obtain clients. Needless to say in the year + that I’ve been on the site I have yet to receive a single client or inquiry for that matter. If you contact support they literally take weeks to respond and will give you some garbage suggestion to add more photos. Do not waste your time.

Total Scam!!

Would give zero stars if I could. Set up my profile request for in home training. Reviewed and selected one of my matches. However he emailed me to say he had no availability. But because I selected him I was billed. Contacted customer service and they said they would credit. But as of today, five days later, no credit. Selected a second match. He contacted me and then proceeded to tell me he doesn't do in home, I'd have to come to him. Additionally he travels every other week so I would be unable to have a set schedule. I said no thanks. He said he would decline the request and I wouldn't be charged. But guess what here I am five days later with a second charge! There is a complete misrepresentation of peoples availability and where they will train. The company charges before knowing if there is any confirmation between client and trainer. So right now I'm sitting here with over $500 in charges on my credit card!Like I said this site is a complete scam. Buyer beware!!

I would give their customer service…

I would give their customer service zero stars if I could. I bought a package of 24 sessions before covid started and when quarantine started I asked for a refund (of about 19 sessions left in my package) because I have a back injury and I need my personal trainer with me in person, I cannot do training virtually. They refused to help me and the employees eventually stopped replying to my emails and I am still waiting for a reply to this day. And now, I am almost done with school and will be leaving the US for good but FYT is holding over 1200 USD of my money and refusing to give it back even with the pandemic and my back injury. They are ruthless.

Shady billing practices

My trainer was great, actual site is shady. They don't have a cancel subscription button on the website. If you want to cancel your subscription you need to find their email address in the FAQ and email them.I hope another company comes along and does this right, this is dodgy business practices.
