Absolutely gorgeous but not quite free.
Absolutely gorgeous but not enough for free. I found this searching for a free website blocker. Am now drawn into it and I *love* it. Just what I need for basic productivity. However, you can only use it for up to 2 hours at a time in the free version. So, lots of scope for distraction there...

Unauthorized credit card charges.
They will charge your credit card without your consent. They also don't allow you to remove your credit card information from their servers.

Life changing
I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel I owe this one.Freedom App has genuinely changed — and quite possibly saved — my life.I’ve struggled with drug addiction for over seven years. Relapse was almost always enabled by one thing: access. Access to mobile banking, messaging apps, phone calls, and the internet tools that made getting drugs far easier than avoiding them. On top of that, I have ADHD, which meant cravings were loud, constant, and impulsive. When addiction is screaming at you and the tools are sitting in your pocket, willpower alone just isn’t enough.Once I relapsed, it didn’t stop there. I’d also end up gambling online, draining money and feeding a vicious cycle of addiction, regret, and shame. I tried rehab, addiction therapy, and many other approaches — and while they helped, what I was missing was instant protection in the exact moment cravings hit.That’s where Freedom came in.Within about 15 seconds, I can start a session that blocks my ability to message dealers, make calls, access WhatsApp or SMS, open banking apps, or download gambling or messaging apps from the Play Store. I can even block specific websites like banks or shopping sites, so even if money is in my account, I physically can’t act on impulse. I keep the internet unlocked for healthy use, but the dangerous pathways are removed.One important thing to be honest about: there is an adjustment period. For me, it took about a week or two for my routine to fully settle. For example, even though app access was blocked, I still physically had my bank card — so if money was sitting in my main account, I could still withdraw it. That was half the problem for me. I learned to keep most of my money in my savings account and only leave enough in my current account for essentials — not enough for drugs or gambling. Once I made those small lifestyle adjustments alongside Freedom, everything clicked into place.What makes this app incredible is how seamless it is beyond that. If I have another device available, I just add it to the same session and I’m protected there too — no setup, no loopholes, no downloading extra apps to block them first. It just works.Freedom doesn’t judge. It doesn’t lecture. It steps in exactly when cravings are strongest and gives you breathing room when your brain can’t.For anyone battling addiction, ADHD, compulsive gambling, or destructive impulses — especially when access is the biggest trigger — this app isn’t just helpful. Freedom app was a godsend at first
Freedom app was a godsend at first. Then I realized all I needed to do was log into safe mode and take away its permission to block things. Too easy to work around.

Great App
Have been using for years. I find freedom extremely beneficial to break unhealthy habits. Very effective and have thought of most ways to help overcome moments of weakness. Thank you! Ps. I paid a once off amount for the lifetime of freedom option, i had used it for several years when i made the purchase since it didnt force me into a subacription.

Freedom falsely markets their block…
Freedom falsely markets their block tool as free but it is not. I downloaded the software but it did it not work. I also kept receiving pop-ups to upgrade. It is a complete waste of time. Try other block site tools for productivity and focus.

Don't install - Does not work!
App does not work! Installed the app on my Windows and it literally would not open up. Started a session via the website and: 1. It didn't restrict me from accessing the website (which is the app's main purpose)2. With a simple click of a button I can cancel the session.

AVOID, inconsistent and selective
I try to use it on my laptop computer. It seems to work randomly, so seldom that it surprises me when it does! It is very easy for the addict in me to get around, and it doesn't block most of the websites that I want it to block. Spend you $40+ somewhere else.

Compete Crap…
Charged me $13.28 for a service I did not want. All.i did was download their app - I was looking for the Freedom Mobile app -and I got charged.

Freedom.to is a complete scam
Freedom.to is a complete scam. They stole $40 from my card, which had already been expired for three months. How the heck does that even happen? On top of that, they won’t let me remove the card from my account, which is absolutely absurd and shady as can be.I tried to delete my account three times to protect myself from future charges, but of course, their system is so messed up it wouldn’t even let me do that. I contacted support about this issue, and nobody responded for a whole week (still waiting).This app is a joke. Their security is a nightmare, their customer support is non-existent, and their business practices are shady. Apps like this shouldn’t even be allowed on the App Store. I would avoid Freedom.to at all costs! Don’t waste your time or money on this app.
