I have purchased many of my clothes…
I have purchased many of my clothes from free people. For example, I purchased a romper and a pair of jeans. The romper has multiple holes in it after only wearing once. Although I had it for more than a year. I only wore it twice. Now there are multiple holes on the seam of it. There is also a hole in the leg of the blue jeans, after less than a year.

Bought some LL Bean shoes at £77 on the 19/01/2026, I received an email saying they would be on back order until 08/03 – I was happy to wait. I received an email in the 15/02 to say my order had been cancelled as they sold out and they weren’t able to fill my order… in actuality my size and style was still available to buy on the website but with a price increase of £21. Basically, they cancelled my order as they failed to abide by the advertised price, my partner then ordered them at the new price as a gift for me and the order went through — so, I requested that he cancel said order because I absolutely will not support a company with these types of underhand practices.

Genuinely terrible,
Genuinely terrible,Bought some asics and I was sent the wrong shoe and it was used and battered, I sent the return and they refused to refund me, customer service was terrible. I would attempt to speak to an agent and would be put in a queue for 6 hours only for the agent to connect then disconnect. When the agent would connect they wouldn't read the previous chats so I had to explain my self over and over and ultimately never received a refund. DO NOT BUY

I almost didn’t order from this store…
I almost didn’t order from this store after seeing the reviews here, so I wanted to share my experience because it was actually very positive.I ordered a dress and it arrived exactly as described. The quality is really good, with beautiful details and a lot of fabric in the skirt, so it feels well made and not cheap at all. The fit is also very flattering.Shipping took a little time since it was sent internationally, and I had to pay import taxes when it arrived in Norway, but that’s normal when ordering from abroad.Overall I’m very happy with my purchase and the dress is even more beautiful in person. I just wanted to leave a review because if I had only read the negative ones here, I probably wouldn’t have ordered and that would have been a shame.

Look for alternative sources before buy!
Buyers should be cautious when ordering from this store. The products appear to be overpriced and delivery times are quite long. In my case, I bought a gift for my wife and the same day found the same item elsewhere for less money and with delivery in half the time. When I tried to cancel, I was told it had already shipped, even though delivery was still estimated to take eight more days.My advice: compare prices and delivery times with other suppliers before buying. You may find much better options.

No online support
I purchased a jacket in store and washed the jacket in accordance to the instructions on the jacket. The black dye of the jacket stained the cream collar a splotchy gray/blue. I contacted Free People customer support and was told there was nothing they could do because I purchased the jacket in store. I am an avid shopper and have a trove of online orders attached to my account. Very disappointing to know that if you shop in store with them, there is virtually no online support. And the saddest part is I loved the jacket and now cant wear it. RIP to my favorite jacket.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Free People.My mum bought me a pair of jeans in November as a Christmas gift — a pair I had wanted for months. When they arrived, they were four sizes bigger than what was ordered, with no explanation. Instead of informing us that the correct size might be out of stock, the wrong item was just sent.We reordered the jeans and once again received the wrong size. It is now February (nearly March) and this still hasn’t been resolved. Communication has been very poor — I’ve had to chase customer support repeatedly and haven’t received any clear updates.I also requested a credit note but am now being told the item will be refunded instead, which feels like my requests are being ignored. It’s been frustrating and stressful over something that should have been simple.After checking reviews on here, it seems many people are having the same issues — wrong items being sent and poor customer service. That’s really disappointing to see.What was meant to be a thoughtful Christmas gift has turned into months of hassle. I expected much better.

Ordered so no much from here
Ordered so no much from here. Quality is pretty bad. Very little trust in what I get from this company. On top of that it is beyond pricey vs. Quality. Buy on eBay or Poshmark. Just don’t expect the seams to match up or the product to hold out. It’s almost comical that they are still in biz.
