False advertising on shipping to home…

False advertising on shipping to home with 2-3 day shipping when they place it in shipping. Status and the carrier hasn’t even received it.

I made it a point to order games with the original artwork labels.

I ordered 6 games from Gamestop online. I made sure to choose games that showed the original jacket sleeve artwork. 4 of them showed up in a case but not with the original game sleeve and artwork. Instead they came with a sleeve that read "Certified Pre-Owned" with the title of the game. I called to complain and they said, they will send replacements and that I could keep the others. I don't want the ones originally sent to me. I'm not trying to rip off Gamestop. So my plan was to return them to my local Gamestop store, since I don't want extras. They promised me what I'd get would be a game with the right sleeve and artwork, but the replacements I've received are just more of the same, certified preowned labels.

Ordered 2 nintendo switches but only…

Ordered 2 nintendo switches but only received one. After a month and a half they are sending the replacement. No sorry or compensation for my wasted time. Horrible service and will never order from again.

Gamestop is destroying themselves!

I will not badger this company and the employees whom work there, due to the fact gamestop is doing it on their own. More importantly gamestop stores will be out of business with their reputation and others word of mouth and reviews. This company needs a reality check for its practices toward the consumer of the gaming, cards, and collectible market. Gamestop take notice before the time is way too late to recoup. Have a nice day browsing elsewhere for items of this nature. Just not here if you have good common sense.

Trash - Customer Service Support the biggest waste of time

Trash. You sometimes have great luck with employees in store. The worst part about Gamestop are the higher ups that dictate prices and especially their idiot customer service agents. All I wanted was to receive a password reset link for my account because it wasn't letting me log in. Their website was refusing to send me a reset link so I had thought that their customer support would be able to help me. Their reasoning for not being able to send me a password reset link was because "that email had already been used to create an account". No duhh. that is the account I am trying to get access to. I had submitted cards to get graded and wanted to get constant status updates through the app. They told me that I had no choice but to create a new account. I called them out on how stupid this solution was because all I needed was a password reset link. The Indian lady on customer support lost their patience because I was challenging their stupid solutions and then hung up on me. The second person refused to give me any help because the previous issue had already happened. I tried a 3rd time and just created a new account to merge my old account after being reassured up and down that EVERYTHING would transfer. My accounts eventually "merged". But none of my PSA submissions transferred. I emailed the customer support hoping to get the names of the customer service reps so I could file an official complaint but gave me the run around and never gave me their names or even addressed my complaints. Later they told me that merging accounts would never transfer previous purchases so now I have no way of actually getting access to my old account because they have officially merged. I still don't have access to my order status because that wasn't going to transfer. Whether its because of a language barrier, lack of training, or just not giving two flying ***** about their customers, their customer service agents will do nothing but make your problems worse. Good luck if you ever have any issues with gamestop or accounts because you will never be helped out properly and you're going to end up getting more pissed off about the interaction than just leaving the problem be.

BUYER BEWARE

Very dissatisfied with this company. I'll admit I should have read their return policy more carefully. I thought I was safe when I paid for a 1 year replacement plan with items I ordered. Maybe the replacement plan only applies to new items ordered. Nevertheless, I thought I was covered since I elected to pay those fees.BTW, I did read today on gamestop's website that used items had a 7 day return window. My fault on that since I was so sure I was covered under a supposed "1 year replacement plan."Out of 9 ps2 video games. Only 2 works on the used ps2 that I bought from gamestop. I have other ps2 games that won't load on that player either. Not sure if it's the discs or the ps2 player. I expected better from gamestop regarding the quality of the used products they sell. My orders were placed with gamestop in Oct 2025, Nov 2025 and Jan 2026. I spent almost $130 for a used playstation 2. In my humble opinion. People looking for quality used gaming consoles and video games, would probably be better off to buy from Amazon, Ebay or a local game shop.

Rude and cant do their job right

They screwed up my order twice. First time they gave me the wrong controller then sent me the right one but it didnt work at all and it looked like someone took a bite out of it. I called to get my money back but the women hung up on me after asking to speak to someone who spoke English. I asked if they check their products to make sure they work and they said no. I DO NOT recommend going through them unless you wanna be screwed over like I was. So much for a good Christmas gift. I cant even use my Xbox till I find a controller for it. No one sells it except Gamestop and I wont go through them again.

Scamming for trade ins

I swear they use broken monitors for trade ins so that they can get your console for half of the typical trade value. I brought my Xbox into 2 stores and when they plug it into their ancient monitors and nothing shows up they offer to take it for less than half of the original value. After each time i took it straight home, plugged it into, and it worked perfectly fine but pretty convenient how it never works in their store. Scamming people and hoping they will just take whatever money they can get from it.
