Garmin (Europe) Ltd – 1 starBought a refurbished Vivoactive 3 from Garmin in Dec 2022. Worked fine for over 3 years until a Garmin-prompted sync/firmware update on 29 Jan 2026 instantly killed the touchscreen. No damage, no misuse.Garmin admitted the fault happened after their update but refused any statutory remedy under the Consumer Rights Act. Repeatedly offered only a paid trade-up. Ignored my detailed CRA arguments, Letter Before Action, and final notice.Forced to file small claim via MCOL. Company policy seems to be deny everything and hope people give up.Avoid Garmin if you value statutory consumer rights. Poor after-sales support and zero respect for the law.

Bought my 12 year old daughter the VivoFit3 (recommend age 4+) at Christmas so she could use the Garmin Junior App. After months of happily using the app, tonight my daughter was logged out and we were forced to pay a £1 parent authorisation fee so she could log in … only to then do it and she not be allowed to log in as a parent controlled account! Absolutely ridiculous that the app was made for kids to use, parents are forced to pay a fee and then the kids can’t use the app anyway!

Customer service is absolutely shocking. Lost my watch abroad and I have asked them if they can put a block on it or something atleast to stop someone else accessing it if its found. Got told they cannot track or block it and that I should report it to the police, I’m in a small town in Vietnam that doesn’t have a local police station and doubt they would be able to do much about it if there was one, I told them this and got a reply of “good luck I hope you find it” seriously… for a big company I thought they would be able to offer much more support than that. Also got told if someone factory resets the garmin watch they can then just use it and Garmin Support cannot do anything about it - £350 fairly new watch down the drain!!! Will be getting the apple smart watch next as they have tracking support and you can manage it as lost on the app.

Ive tried ordering, two different cards, paypal. Ive even created a new account with my wife's credentials - Nada. Zip. No. An error occurred at checkout. It just doesn't work. Sadly the dashcam mini 3 is cheapest on their website so I can't even revert to amazon. I spent 30mins on the phone to Garmin and Ive given up.

DIRECTED AT GARMIN.CO.UK DO NOT use Garmin or buy the Fenix 7. My original watch failed due to buttons not working after 2.5 years. A recertified replacement at £250 was offered and I purchased, within 10 months this same issue on the new watch watch happened again. They now want another £220 to replace with another recertified watch. When I challenged UK customer support they didn't see the issue - over £400 with 10months for a product that just keeps on failing .An absolute scam, a con and no desire to look after a loyal customer using Garmin products for over 12 years. NO MORE GARMIN

Purchased Fenix 7s in 2024 …shame only limited 1 year warranty- seems they expect problems had some problems with the stats not being collected …determined that it was a hardware issue rather than fix the hardware problem now being palmed off with a refurbished watch…seeing bad reviews for refurbished watches …battery life poor and visible damage …time to look at alternatives I think as Garmin no longer viable in my view

Garmin allows 'GarmStraps' to take watch strap orders on the Garmin website, then when my order fails to be fulfilled does not help me resolve!. Awful customer service

I’ve been a loyal Garmin customer for years, using their devices personally and for development purposes, but my recent experience with Garmin Australasia has been extremely disappointing.My fēnix® 8 – 51 mm AMOLED watch developed a display issue, which I first reported on 15 January 2026. Despite providing proof of purchase and confirming the replacement order as requested, Garmin repeatedly delayed resolving the issue.Most frustratingly, I notified Garmin on four separate occasions that the replacement watch being sent was the wrong model, yet they sent it anyway. At no point was an apology offered, and the communication consistently shifted the blame onto me instead of addressing their repeated mistakes.For a brand with Garmin’s reputation, this experience was frustrating and unacceptable. Their customer support failed to meet even basic expectations.
