Unforgettable

Poor customer service, lost of money

Imagine you go to the shop to buy 100 ml of perfume. The shop assistant brings you a box of perfume, you pay, go home, open the box, and realise that the bottle is only 50 ml, not 100. As a reasonable person, you go back to the store and explain that the salesperson made a mistake and sold you the wrong product, and that you’re willing to pay an additional £40 to get what you want. In my case, the manager ran out of the back room and immediately with unhappy face declared - NO EXCHANGE! telling me i was wrong by opening the box.. Sometimes I’ve received items I didn’t order instead of what I did order—for example, from M&S—and even if I’d opened them, they always refunded my money! In my case, the salesperson made a mistake by selling me the wrong item. It turns out... when I got home, before I was supposed to open the box, and read the fine print to see how many ml of perfume I’d bought, and return it if there was less without opening. I spent half a day traveling to the shop to exchange the perfume for a 100ml bottle, but I was quickly and rudely kicked out of the store. I understand that the manager isn’t a professional, because only a complete amateur could treat a customer so poorly. I’ll never forget that kind of treatment. Who puts people behind the counter who don’t know anything, who can’t even sell perfume properly?? Not happy and lost of my money by buying smaller size for higher price. `DATE of shopping - 18.03.2026 (check available)
