Disgusting attitude

Myself and my fiancé went a couple of weeks ago to the chesterfield store to collect my wedding ring that my fiancé had purchased online, we don’t normally go into town but we had to give notice of our marriage at the registry office so thought we make it a bit of an occasion an collect my wedding ring which I was excited to do. On arriving at the store the shop assistant starting asking why we had bought online in a very condescending manner, which my partner replied he did most of his shopping online, she was very rude about it, I then said to her young assistant I bet you shop online with which she replied very abruptly that she only shopped on Amazon!! We were made to feel very uncomfortable and I held my tongue as my partner doesn’t like confrontation, I thought I would go away and leave it, but over the course of the last couple of weeks I’ve become more upset about how they ruined which should have been a happy occasion of collecting my wedding ring. But what my fiancé didn’t say is the reason he ordered the ring online was because he has terminal cancer and ordered my ring while undergoing his chemo while sat at the hospital. I’m absolutely horrified ag the way we were treated, my partner refused to justify buying online to these rude shop assistants but I think how dare they speak like that to him and try and make him feel small!!

Will never shop there again

Will never shop there again, I suggest you do the same if you’re going to be spending a lot of money, fiancee had her engagement ring for less than 24 hours! Woke up to it massively bent out of shape and diamonds missing from it, I have photo proof, bent like a cheap ring out of a 20p machine, baring in mind this was there new “Premium Harriet collection” ring was £1600+! Luckily have it insured. Have been told they have sent it off to test if it was accidentally damage or manufacturing issue which it clearly is! We’ve now been engaged nearly 2 months and my fiancee has had the ring on less than a day. They had my ring now for weeks and we haven’t heard anything from them. £1600 spent and no ring to show for it. I’ll use another well known company in the future and suggest you do the same!

We were looked after by Darren

We were looked after by Darren, he was articulate, polite and helpful. Rare is it that sales representatives are genuinly interested in their customers and serve them accordingly. We are delighted with our purchase which was to replace a lost wedding ring. Darren listened and remembered me when I returned to collect our purchase. My only criticism would be that the casual Saturday workers who initially meet the customer on entry should at least remember what the customer asked for whilst relaying the request to the appropriate sales person, and at least look and learn from the subsequent transaction, instead of returning to their post and continue staring out of the showroom window.

Extremely disappointed and honestly…

Extremely disappointed and honestly heartbroken.We ordered our wedding rings only a few weeks before our big day and were clearly assured by the store that everything would arrive on time. We trusted that promise. My ring arrived just in time — but my husband’s ring was suddenly cancelled at the last minute, with no explanation and not even a proper apology. Just like that, days before our wedding, he was left without a ring.When I went to collect my ring and explained what had happened, the response I received was unbelievable. The seller casually said, “Well, you’ll get your refund.” As if a refund replaces a wedding ring days before the ceremony. I was completely shocked. I explained that we still needed a ring — this was our wedding — and he simply replied that there wasn’t much time now.No urgency. No accountability. No real apology. Just indifference.We will never rely on this company again!!!!
