The 3 things I like best about…
The 3 things I like best about Hungryroot (HR) are 1.) I can select multiple dietary preferences, ie; low /no sugar, carb conscious, low inflammation. 2.) I make the meals, so I can season them how I want or add ingredients if I want. 3.) I have the freedom to edit each recipe's ingredients. Or I can delete the entire recipe & select grocery items. The flexibility of HR is key. Imho. 🙂 Member since Dec 2024

Some of the produce wasn't amazing…
Some of the produce wasn't amazing quality. I had to throw away some sweet potatoes and the lemons and limes were also not the best. One lime and lemon were already going bad and had to be thrown away.

Great food, disappointing delivery.
I love the food, variety, suggestions and convenience. Sadly, delivery is a challenge every time :( I realize that is an issue with the chosen delivery service, but I have no control over that. Never deliver to my door as label instructs, when they could not deliver, they did not communicate with me, just delivered a fully melted box > 24 hours later. VERY frustrating.

Everything was so good
Everything was so good! I was able to make more meals out of my shipment than expected. The single snack items were great too: healthy, low calorie, nothing I had seen in the store.

The ordering process was so easy, and the filters helped me order exactly what I wanted without a lot of work on my end. We love our meals, and even our picky preschooler enjoys them.

I am impressed

Just received first Hungryroot order
Just received first Hungryroot order. Disappointing. Was an unexpected seperate additional charge of $20 beyond the $80, no explanation as to why. The "sealed" bag of raw pork was leaking pork "juice" all over everything else in the box, really big mess. Had to cancel right away.
