Deceptive referral rewards: Offering coupons that exceed account limits
Instarem is scamming users with fake referral rewards. They promised a $50 bonus but instead gave me a coupon that requires a $2,500 transfer. The problem? My account has a transaction limit of 3,400,000 KRW (approx. $2,270).Even after I sent them a screenshot proving their system blocks me from sending $2,500, they told me to 'just use it' and refused to provide a usable reward. This is a deliberate tactic to avoid paying promised bonuses. Do not trust their referral program.

I strongly advise people to think twice…
I strongly advise people to think twice before using Instarem (Nium Fintech Limited, regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority with FRN (number) 901024). My experience has been extremely frustrating. After attempting to initiate a transfer, the process became unclear and communication from customer support (or “bots”) was slow and unhelpful. I established an account with Instarem and for several days after submitting “additional details” in order to actually make a transfer (in response to their instruction) I received the same message each of those (several) days that my account was “under review” and that I would receive a response within 1 business day. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the issue, I received generic responses and no meaningful resolution.For a financial service handling people’s money, transparency and accountability are essential. Unfortunately, my experience with Instarem fell far below what I would expect from a regulated financial company.If you value reliable customer support and clear communication when transferring money internationally, you may want to carefully research alternatives before using this service.I will also be escalating this matter to the UK Financial Ombudsman.
