I used to go there to do oil change and i told them to do high mileage synthetic but they put semi synthetic blend wich is not totally safe for my car engine never ever back to jiffy lube

I have been coming to this particular Jiffy Lube for years and they are really outstanding. They are efficient, trustworthy, and good communicators. Sean in particular always gives amazing customer service. Highly recommended for all your routine auto maintenance (faster and cheaper than a dealership for sure)

Went to Jiffy Lube in Macedonia, Ohio for an oil change, second time at this location. First visit was excellent service with knowledgable staff, Willie was his name (former Marine) that acknowledged my military service. This visit, the staff was not well trained, they tried to upsell to the most expensive premium service ($109), they didn't know where the dipstick was, and were extremely slow. They skipped multiple services that should have been included (windshield wiper fluid, wipers not checked, etc). It took over 25 minutes to complete the service and could not access my previous service records when requested. I just hope I don't have future problems with my car! (Work Order 2897) The signature on the paper invoice is not mine. The total charge was $96.38 - virtually double the amount spent on my previous visit.

So I took my vehicle to a Jiffy Lube near me. It's my wife's car and she was off for a day off so thought would be a good time to get oil change and a transmission service. Tire rotate wouldn't hurt either. What I figured would be at most a hour wait turned into a almost two hour wait. I was never given an explanation for delays or a apology from them. As someone who used to work in a service shop it's irresponsible not to keep customers waiting informed about delays. I think if you just need a quick oil change you might seek out one of these quick lube places. Any further maintenance or repair go to a more professional and skilled service shop. These places used to only specialize in oil changes but now have branched out into more money maker services. Maybe sometime you don't even need. I certainly would not trust these people at the Jiffy lube to do brake jobs, tune ups or more complex repairs. These reviews show a lot of negative reviews and experiences with Jiffy Lube's and many are independently owned. They are franchised and Jiffy Lube corporate passes any complaints onto the franchisee and accept no fault for a customers bad experience with the store. Because most good shops require an appointment and I was wanting a service that day. I fell into the trap of having to rely on a Quick lube place for a service. You pay a price for that convenience and you may not get a good experience either. My advice, plan ahead get full service shop to do work on your vehicle, let them get familiar with you and your vehicle so they can understand your expectations. They will also treat your vehicle more personally than just another one driving through the quick lube lane.

More like Jiffy rip off we took our grand daughter a 2016 Chevy sonic. The car had a clean carfax as well as scheduled service done at my Chevy dealership here in Mesa Az. The two Albuquerque locations took my sonic in replaced the battery belts and a tension pulley that was NOT NEEDED according to a technician working at their location who admitted the actual employee that worked on the car misdiagnosed the original problem. BBB IN NEW MEXICO also refused to investigate or accept any proof provided about Jiffy Lube who BTW HAS MULTIPLE BAD REVIEWS. Corporate Jiffy lube refers you back to the thieving manager and also refuses to look into the many complaints about these thief’s. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere!

I came to the Jiffy Lube #1709 in Midlothian VA on 2/1/26 at 10:00am for an oil change. The employees in the shop were fantastic as they completed my full synthetic oil change in 15 minutes. The issue is that the manager was in the restroom for over 30 minutes, causing me to wait on him to finish using the bathroom. Once he finally finished, he proceeded to make excuses as to why he was in the bathroom over 30 minutes. His language was unacceptable as he was cursing at the employees as well as myself. All he did was give me a military discount of $16.48 making my bill $98.26. Why am I being charged for the manager to be in the bathroom over 30 minutes, listen to excuses and cursing, and being flat out unprofessional. I had no choice but to pay so I could resume my day. This is an outrage and I can’t believe I paid almost $100 for this. I’ve been a customer of Jiffy Lube for a very long time, and this is completely unacceptable.

went to Paoli PA jiffy lube to get my car annual inspection and emissions done. They looked over car and presented me with a $2,022 work invoice to pass inspection. They claimed I needed brakes all around, 2 suspension arms replaced, and new windshield wipers. I had just replaced the windshield wipers before going and the box with the old parts were in the FRONT seat. I left with only getting my emissions sticker ($85 cost for inspection). I then went to 2 other garages (one a Dealership) and the other a local garage both said suspension was perfect. Also both said only needed brakes on rear axle. I paid $467 for rear brakes and inspection sticker provided for $50 more !!! Beware this Paoli PA locations upsell tactics. They tried to rip me off for $1,500 in unnecessary services.

Jan5/26I purchased a battery from them in July 2021 I went back on January 5, 2026 because my battery was dead and they told me at that time I had only put 38,000 km on it and said that was normal which absolutely it is not normal. I had had that car brand new in 2013 with over 215,000 km on it and had never replaced that battery but now they tell me that’s normal not to mention they said to me too bad so I went to an actual garage they replaced it. It was a four-year warranty, and they had also told me that my oil was overflowing that there was too much oil put in it!! every time I go they try and upsell me something which is absolutely not needed and I always tell them no because I do have mechanics in the family, but I only go there for oil changes so I did believe them on the battery so I thought why not I’m here get it done and then I was left with oh well so all I can say is do not let them sell you batteries!!!Not to mention every time I go there they also tell me I need to have my transmission fluid flushed and when they did the battery, apparently they did that also and then when I was just there again, they told me again that it needed to be flushed and that was 38,000 km but yet when I did let them do the flush he had told me every 100,000 kilometres it should be done so I actually allowed it but then when I went back three weeks prior to January 5. I had had an oil change done and they had told me then that I also needed the transmission fluid flushed but yet it was only 38,000 km.Needless to say, I won’t be going back. I think they are thieves.
