Fell in love with their protractor table... unfortunately kardiel refuses to stand behind their product and it's falling apart

I ordered a sofa which turned out to be so big it wouldn’t even go into the big service elevator, and when I couldn’t accept the delivery stating the inability to get it indoors (no disclaimer about it on their website), they declined to do an adequate refund, due to delivery fees + “restocking fee” being accumulated to about ~70% of the total amount. And then despite promising to refund the 30% that’s left, they just disappeared and I couldn’t contact them anymore. I’ve never faced anything like that. In the end they just stole close to $1k dollars from me. Never do business with these scammers

We ordered a coffee table in July of 2024 and were told it would come in Sept. Sept came and we were told Oct, then Nov, then Dec. then they said they could not give us a date. We then received an email in Feb stating that they could not fulfill the order and we would get a refund check. The check never came so we ended up filing a fraud case with our credit card and got a full refund that way. Pretty much our worst buying experience ever.

The day after placing the order I received a call to confirm my order and make me feel nice… now though, many weeks later, no emails answered, phones never going past an automated message and neither a couch, nor refund, I can only assume I have been scammed, do NOT ‘buy’ from this company… buy being an odd term as it’s really just a convenient way to dispose of money you no longer want

As an interior designer, I have never encountered a company as unprofessional and frustrating as this one. We waited nine months for a piece that was repeatedly delayed—first by a month, then another, then another—until we were ultimately told it was being discontinued altogether. After stringing us along for nearly a year, they offered a small consolation: a set of orb pillows as a thank-you for our patience. But once they canceled our order, they refused to send even those—leaving us empty-handed and our clients disappointed.Their furniture is cheap, poorly made, and nothing more than a “look for less” gimmick. Worse, their customer service is nonexistent. I have been waiting weeks for a client’s refund, despite being initially assured it would take only 15-20 days. They refuse to refund to the original form of payment and insist on cutting a check—yet even that has yet to arrive. To top it all off, their phone lines go straight to voicemail no matter when you call. No responses. No accountability. No regard for their customers. If you’re considering doing business with them, don’t. This company is a nightmare.

Do not buy anything from them. It is a shandy and scam business. They keep moving the delivery date until you end up cancelling so they can charge you a cancellation fee for something they don’t have and never delivered.

I'm a designer, and their products and customer service are the worst I've ever seen. I bought 2 swivel chairs for over $1000/each. One drum base arrived broken and got worse with time, the other seat completely snapped apart from the base tumbling my guest on the floor with an injury on her head. I've only had these chairs for 18 months and I've filed 2 complaints, one early on and one a year 1/2 out, only to be told that they won't do anything to fix or replace them. Worst company ever

One evening, I made the regrettable decision to purchase a $3,500 sofa from Kardiel.com after indulging in a bit too much wine and skipping the necessary research. Within 24 hours of placing the order, I stumbled upon troubling reviews and firsthand accounts from other customers. These ranged from complaints about poor product quality to allegations that the company operates as a deceptive reseller of Alibaba-sourced furniture, marketed under the guise of a premium brand. Even their descriptions are suspect, suggesting that something is solid walnut when it is a veneer, etc. Realizing my mistake, I attempted to cancel the order within 48 hours, only to discover they impose an immediate 10% cancellation fee. To make matters worse, it took them 15 business days—nearly a full month—to refund the remaining balance. Throughout the process, their customer service was unapologetic, dismissive, and quick to hide behind their policies. It became apparent that this isn’t just a poorly run operation but a calculated approach. Charging steep cancellation fees, delaying refunds, and holding onto customers' funds appear to be significant components of their business model. From a legal standpoint, several of their practices seem to push the boundaries of consumer protection statutes. Their refund and cancellation policy was hidden in the small print at the time of purchase, and the extensive delay in issuing refunds raises questions about compliance with fair business practices. Furthermore, if their marketing materials misrepresent the origin or quality of their products, they could be liable for deceptive trade practices or false advertising, both of which are actionable. While I’m willing to risk a small purchase, like a painting or a pillow, with a company of this nature, I now know better than to trust them with a significant furniture purchase. The $350 cancellation fee was an expensive lesson, but it raises broader concerns about whether their policies are designed to exploit customers. This experience highlights the need for scrutiny of their practices, which could warrant consumer complaints or even a class-action lawsuit. Consider this a cautionary tale: always do your due diligence before making a major purchase, especially with companies like Kardiel.com.

The delivery of my new sofa went quite well; however, it is an independent delivery company. as soon as the sofa was unwrapped, I could see that the fabric on the cushions was not snug to the cushion itself, making it pucker and wrinkle. I suggested to the delivery person to send the whole thing back; however he assured me that kardiel had good customer service and it didn't make sense to send back a whole sofa if it just needed a replacement cushion or two. This started back in September and now here it is december. Despite going back and forth with Kardiel many times, many photos, many videos, they simply insist that the manufacturer says there is not a defect and won't do anything. they also insist that the foam just hasn't filled out the cover yet from shipping. if this was true, it would've by now and also all the cushions would have the same issue and they do not. Additionally, I have done upholstery work and I know when a cover has been made to big for the cushion....it should fit quite snuggly. you should not be able to use the extra fabric as a handle to pick the cushion up by.buying a new sofa was a big investment for me. and in this case it was to change up a room after a terrible divorce. I do believe its important to create environments that support us and make us feel good at home. a defective sofa followed by a company not standing by its product isn't exactly the experience I intended to buy.no one came out to even look at this sofa.

The leg on my chair snapped after less than 5 years of use. The welding literally came apart and the chair collapsed. Kardiel could not provide a replacement leg or offer more than a 5% discount off the purchase of a different chair.
