Worst Customer Service!

I had an extremely frustrating experience shopping online with Linen Chest Canada. There’s a problem with the dresser I purchased, and despite reaching out by email, I’ve been waiting for over two months for a response. They don’t even provide a phone number to contact customer service. I also went into a store hoping to get help in person, but the staff there were unable to assist me or resolve the issue because I purchased the dresser online not in-store. Overall, this experience deserves a negative rating—not even 1 star.

Horrible Customer Service!!!!

I had a very poor experience with Linen Chest’s online customer service.I submitted a request and have been waiting for over a month without any meaningful response or resolution. Despite multiple follow-ups, there was no accountability, no clear communication, and no effort to resolve the issue.This is unacceptable for a company operating in eCommerce, where timely support is critical. Waiting weeks for basic assistance reflects a serious gap in customer service standards.Based on this experience, I will not be ordering from Linen Chest again and would caution others about relying on their customer support.

If I could give this company a 0, I would. I have been waiting for 3.5 months on a order that was sold as to be delivered in 1-3 weeks and half the package was so severely damaged that I had to go pick it up from the delivery provider (even though I had paid for shipping) and this was 3 months after I placed the original order. I have been emailing customer support for over a month now and have not received a single response. The other half of my order has still not been shipped. This was after spending over $500 with them. I can't cancel the order online because it has been so long and they have offered zero compensation or refund based on the issue I have had. I will never order from them again and I highly discourage anyone from buying from them unless it is instore and you leave with your purchase. UPDATE - Linen Chest responded to my review saying that my claim had been escalated. This was over a week ago and I still received zero response from them, nor have I received my full order. THIS COMPANY IS AWFUL.

I placed an order for a sheet set and salt and pepper shakers.

I placed an order for a sheet set and a pair of salt and pepper shakers (order # 84322932). I was happy with the sheet set. They sent 2 unboxed salt shakers. The item was supposedly two shakers in the shape of elephants with intertwined trunks. I opened a complaint RMA #1100009763. I waited a month without a reply, I replied to the form email asking for a refund. 3 weeks later, still no reply. This is not customer service, this is fraud. Follow up ....I received a full credit to my charge car on March 30, 2026.

I made an online order for a duvet…

I made an online order for a duvet cover and pillow shams for my son's birthday. The items were shipped on Feb 11 and made it to British Columbia by Feb 17. Then the items sat at a Can-Par facility in Surrey and Burnaby until Mar 9 when they shipped them back to Lachine Quebec. I tried reaching out to any customer service line but always got directed to Elsie the "bot". Elsie said she would start a case, but I have yet to hear from anyone. I emailed to verify that they had the unit number and then emailed again to ask why it was taking so long to make the delivery. I received a reply in french. I purposefully wanted to use a Canadian company, but I would have been better off ordering from Amazon. This has been a very frustrating experience, and we still don't have a refund or the products.

Delayed Customer Service but Good Quality Products

I love the quality and selection of Linen Chest products. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting for help regarding my Feb 18th 2026 order. Though in the past their online customer service has been very helpful, I wish they were able to provide less delayed customer service. I can only shop online because my mobility transpo won't take me to the nearest Linen Chest which is in a neighboring city. The delayed replies makes shopping online frustrating. I hope their customer response speed increases.

Do nou use this company

Terrible company.. The product I ordered online had flaws all over the material, did not look anything like their picture online... As far as customer service, there is absolutely none. They do not answer e-mails, the phone number I found only directs you to online chat, which is not a real online chat. You pick the closest 'problem' they offer and irt goes no where... Complete sham and I am out $200. I have learned at an expensive lesson.

I hesitated to order from Linen Closet…

I hesitated to order from Linen Closet due to negative reviews on Trustpilot but decided to try it once and couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome! The products are good quality and exactly as pictured on line. Shipping was quick. I received all the products in 2 days. I am delighted with my order and my experience buying from Linen Closet.

Update: finally I had Mariette a customer service agent that was able to stopped the delivery and she processed my refund . BIG THANK TO HER 🫶🏻That is why I’m changing my review but I’m not confident to buy again at that store due to their return policy. Previous: Order # 84346186 If I could give minus 100 I would..😡 I ordered a SMEG EXPRESSO machine and right after my order was placed I saw their return policy and it didn’t fit my need so I tried to cancel right away. First it is so hard to find an email to contact someone you can only go on chat on the website. Then someone email me. Since march 5 I’ve been saying not to ship because I don’t want my order due to their stupid return policy and today march 11 they shipped my order 😡 I sent so many requests, no one answered.. Now I have to wait to get it and bring it back at the store .. OMG I’M FURIOUS. The worst customer service I ever experienced.. BAD BAD BAD
