Profile Closed no reason or path forward offered
Poor Service. I have used the service several times over the years with no issues. I attempted to send money today moneygram blocked it. I spent hours trying to get my account activated because moneygram closed my profile wirhout warning for zero reason. I was offered no way forward even when offering several forms of identification and documentation. The computer makes all the decisions, no human overrides permitted, even to correct inaccuracies. According to them I am barred for life except in-person which is counterintuitive for sending money.

You are STUPID
Walking in Sorrento Italy today and noticed a competitive rate advertised for currency exchange in a MoneyGram exchange kiosk. We approached and asked how much we would get if we exchanged USD$250 and she pointed to the advertised sign indicated the rate of 1.262. We agreed and slipped $250 through security glass. After showing a passport, the young lady slipped an exchange amount through the window which seemed far less then the advertised rate. When we questioned her she pointed to the sign showing that they charge a 19.9% fee (never mentioned prior). We asked about it and she said it was advertised and we should have known. We asked her to refund our dollars and she can have her Euros back and she refused. Yes we should have known better but we let our guards down. Don’t be stupid like we were. No one pays a 20% exchange commission. MoneyGram is Europes timeshare.

The most worthless system I've ever…
The most worthless system I've ever experienced is monygram. Money was sent to me and I tried to pick it up. First, I searched Google and found the wrong and old pickup address. Oke, I'll say Google was wrong, but then I searched in the Monygram website for the correct address. It turned out I had to pick it up in a different city. I tried two different locations, and it still didn't work. The first one said they don’t have money and come othereday back!! and the second one said his account was blocked and therefore he couldn't help me. Then I got a call from the first location explaining that I can pick up half the amount today and the rest the next day.I didn't know whether to laugh or cry ... All this fuss for a 400 euro pickup.

Quick-Easy and Fast Money Transfer
They are always very accurate and up to date with their Transfer System and the Money Transfer goes very quick with my Registered Visa Debt Card.And the Reduced Fees are Also very Important for Me because They reward You in their Money Transfer digital System (Originally Dutch) Johanna

I will never use MoneyGram again
I will never use MoneyGram again, and I will advice anyone who I know to never use it. The worst experience ever, they are a fraudulent company. Bad customer service, they don’t refund any money went transfer goes wrong

My wife contacted the Monegram as there…
My wife contacted the Monegram as there was a reference number error but contact centre was not very helpful. So in the end asked for cancellation and it has been three days without refund. New transfer made went through without any issues on the same day. Monegram should take some ownership and at least to try to help their customers
