First experience of a self cleaning…

First experience of a self cleaning litter tray, malfunctioned on the first use, literally one cat had a wee and it tipped the whole litter into the bin which then sent notifications to my phone that it needed emptying - really really disappointed, I bought from a recommendation on Facebook and regret it straight away, I am going to be sending this back and asking for a full refund, REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE so unhappy

I’ve had this machine for over 9 months…

I’ve had this machine for over 9 months and This is by far the most troublesome machine that I’ve ever bought. No exaggeration, at least twice a month something is wrong with this thing. Somehow the waste-bin is always full. And I don’t mean that literally, the sensor is always saying that the waste-bin is full. The cat litter sensor isn’t an issue because it doesn’t stop the machine from rotating but this thing always has some sort of error flashing. I have to take the entire thing apart and reset it a thousand times over and over before it decided to finally start working. It also waists so much litter. Not to mention the app, besides the name theres just not enough options for the interfacing. If you need to troubleshoot the machine it gives you two options and there’s only one troubleshooting video that they show you. How are there so many types of errors but only one troubleshooting aid? This is the most expensive machine that I’ve ever bought and it’s more delicate than a flower. One of the biggest buyer’s remorse situations of my life. I will however say, I do love that it’s not a rotating barrel so litter doesn’t get stuck in their fur. The machine also doesn’t allow you to overfill the waste bin, which is usually a good thing until it’s an error and then you’re stuck with a loud beeping expensive box.

Avoid !!!

Absolutely horrendous company & the trays are absolute rubbish. We bought 4 of these a year ago then the trouble began. One problem after another. Customer service was terrible but after many months they replaced the trays because they didn’t work Just weeks later the same problem is starting again and now only 1 of these 4 replacements work. We are both wheelchair users and one of us is terminally ill yet they constantly ask for serial numbers & videos. It’s got that bad we are dumping them all at the tip & loosing £2000. DO NOT BUY !!!!Next they will reply to this review & tell me to contact customer support 😡Like i said they will reply telling me to contact them !!!

This review is for the Neakasa…

This review is for the Neakasa automatic litter box The company’s customer service is completely unacceptable. I have been trying for three months to get a replacement unit for a clearly defective product. Instead of honoring the warranty and replacing the unit, they repeatedly sent random motor parts and instructed me to disassemble the entire machine myself—“replace this,” “swap that,” “send another video.” All of these issues were reported before the warranty expired.I have sent well over twenty emails and still have no resolution. There has been zero meaningful product support and no accountability.Do NOT buy this product. If something goes wrong, you could be out $500 with no real support or replacement.

I purchased the Neakasa self-cleaning…

I purchased the Neakasa self-cleaning litter box for my Maine Coon cat. Since he's so tall, he needed the open top box. This has been a game changer for us, and I highly recommend it. It's well worth the price because it saves my time and eliminates odor. I purchase replacement bags from Neakasa, and they're conveniently delivered to my door.

Really not a good cat box, too many issues

The box is very easy to clean, but it consistently gives me inaccurate messages about the box being full right after I've changed the waste bag. I had a space limitation so I had to give away my Litter Robot 4 and get this litter box. This is in no way a comparable auto litter box compared to the Litter Robot 4. I only have two cats and I'm having to change the waste bag every other day. There is NO notification about how full the bag is. If you have the space, go for the Litter Robot. The only positive thing I can see using the Neakasa is the ease in changing the waste bag. Added info on 3/8/26: The litter box consistently drops dirty clumps of litter outside the box. Somehow they fall out and make a mess. The unit is at least 6 inches from the wall. Also, the poop clumps somehow drop on the side where they get smashed and scraped along the outside of the box that goes up and down. Just very nasty. I'm getting very close to throwing this in the garbage and possibly getting the Litter Robot 5 EVO. I would advise against buying the Neakasa.

No customer support, breach of warranty

Bought the Neakasa M1 at launch. Worked for a while, then, 1.5 years later, a sensor started to fail, making it unusable.The box is under warranty but the customer support does not answer. I have a glorified 400€ brick now, even after 5 mails/tickets over a month.There is no part available anywhere, no way to fix it on the software side either.The app that goes with the litterbox is also one of the worst experience I've seen too, for what its worth.

Horrible return policy,

Horrible return policy,On the Neakasa site they claim 30 day Money back garante. However you have to pay for return shipping in full. Meaning if you order from the EU you have to ship a giant box across the pond to California which costs about half as much as the litter box. Also they claim they can refuse the money back if the box is considered dirty. Watch out and think before you order
