It is unbelievable that how much work they do just to reject a totally reasonable refund request . They use AI to generate super hard verification code to block customer refundFurthermore, their policy mentioned that if customers seek for a refund. They would suspend user’s accounts.

Don't use the Playstation Store. My son who is 5 purchased some tokens via Minecraft. I had to wait in a text que to ask for a refund. They denied it and said they couldn't do anything. It's irritating as for them it's just a click of a mouse and I know $14 isn't a lot, however; I made sure to remove my CC from the Playstation Store and in the long run I know I'll never waste any $ on Playstation again. Time to switch to X Box who has always been better with returns.

I asked playstation support to refund a broken game (Forza Horizon 5), they simply refused, and said because i downloaded the game, i can't request refund, guys game is broken, i can't play !!! this game having issues with steering wheel , the buttons are not available and simply you can not pass some of the missions need access to those buttons. i talked with multiple person, at end they told me go talk with the game producer. but in their return policy it said we can return a game if it is broken. i can say there is no customer support at playstation network. case number is: 49694085, 49619413, 49694831, 49695516

I’ve spent years building my PSN account, including early Fortnite progress, digital purchases, and subscriptions. Then, I lost access to the original email. That’s it — no console, no transaction IDs — and suddenly PlayStation’s system treats me like a thief. I’ve tried multiple times to get manual account recovery. Every single time, I hit the exact same wall: “We can’t help you without info you literally no longer have.”There is no phone number, no escalation, no human support that can help. Even when I ask for a specialist review, I’m flat-out denied. Years of my time and money? Gone. My frustration? Ignored.Sony, if you care about your players at all, someone needs to fix this system. Losing an account because your outdated security checks can’t accommodate legitimate users is unacceptable.I want my account back. And I want you to know that this is exactly how you drive away loyal customers.

I made a purchase through PlayStation that turned out to be misleading, and when I contacted them to seek a refund, I received no meaningful response.Customer service is essentially nonexistent — just automated systems, unanswered messages, and endless time spent trying to get help. As an Australian consumer, I’m genuinely surprised this is allowed, given our consumer protection laws.Wasted time, wasted money, and zero accountability. I would strongly caution others before making purchases through PlayStation.

I recently purchased Baldur’s Gate 3 digitally for PS5, downloaded it, and played it only for a few minutes before realizing it was not the type of experience I was looking for.I requested a refund or at least store credit on the same day of purchase, explaining that it was an honest mistake and that my usage was minimal.PlayStation refused to offer any refund or compensation, citing an internal policy that prohibits refunds once content has been downloaded.I find this policy unfair and anti-consumer, as there is no trial period, demo, or clear warning that allows customers to evaluate a digital product before permanently losing their money.The support experience was repetitive, rigid, and lacked empathy. As an adult consumer, I expected a more reasonable and flexible approach.After this experience, I will think twice before purchasing expensive digital games on PlayStation without a demo or extended preview.

Shockingly awful experience with PlayStation, staff can’t seem to grasp the simplest of things to get sorted, for example, sent me a faulty item opened after Christmas and said it’s not under their warranty!!!! We have 2x PlayStation 5’s!!!! Suggest anyone buying products from their direct store be very VERY VERY careful, suggest you find all the faceplate products on Ali express and save yourself money!!! 👍

Wish there was an option for 0/5. The refund policy is just so bad and greedy. The amount of emails you have to go trough to get a refund just shows how greedy PlayStation/Sony is. I'm sorry but you're milking The last of us too much as well.And the support is nothing but bad, unless you might be in the US where you have more options.If you want to get a refund you can't actually have played the game, this is literally why people are jailbreaking these.They don't listen to the community either, they give us everything but what we want. If people want a Bloodborne release on PC they will literally ignore it.Or even a 60fps patch, I'm sure they're saving it for the PS6. Besides they're making the hardware worse while having the same prices on 6 year old hardware. Have to many reasons to sue Sony, their service is just bad really. No official announcements either, the only way to get information or even get contact with them would be to walk up to their headquarter.Literally though, Sony gotta be the greediest company I've seen so far.Makes me miss Xbox as they listened to the community and actually had decent support.Sony also think their Tlou Complete Edition will do good, game should be free with that release.If you see this Sony, be better and be greater like the description of the Spider Man games.Yes I spent 10 minutes to write this as I don't recommend anyone to purchase a PlayStation and so you know what to expect. Aside from that it's alright but still greedy.
