No customer service WHATSOEVER -and I am out 143.52$

So your "trusted" chosen courrier, leaves packages OUTDOORS. Item (143$worth) STOLEN. I contact you via webform[now we know why you don't have a contact #✔️] NO REPLY. I DM you on Facebook and Instagram, TWO days later we get the COPY PASTE GENERIC REPLY that you are the "Marketing dept" and have NO CONTROL and direct me to submit form on site? This is your AFTER SALES customer service? You spend ALL DAY posting & clapping on Social Media to gain sales BUT 3 DAYS LATER and you are STILL IGNORING a customer who PAID?✔️Chargeback submitted✔️econsumer.gov complaint filed✔️Better Business Bureau complaint filed🎈Canadian Consumer Protection offices are to FOLLOW AS WELL✔️🪠TrustPilot & ALL other platforms available will be informed🪠Reviews will be posted ALONG with your gaslighting generic replies in screenshots🪠Ready & willing to take this to the media**This** Review will be updated with more to come✔️Don't BOTHER trying to give me a generic response under this review acting clueless and asking to NOW RECTIFY it or CONTACT you. Beware international shoppers they do…

Beware international shoppers they do not allow exchanges or refunds at all and it’s final sale. They do not state this clearly in their website, as much as I love my bag, it’s too small and I wanted to exchange it however I cannot so now I’m stuck with it not impressed with this company.

Beware of the policies...

I accidentally placed a duplicate order and contacted Portland Leather within minutes to cancel it. Support told me the order could not be canceled once submitted.Because I’m in Canada, I was also told international orders cannot be returned or exchanged. That means I may have to absorb duties and related costs on an order I tried to stop almost immediately.If this is the company’s policy, customers — especially international ones — should know that accidental duplicate orders may be effectively irreversible even when reported right away.

Don’t buy!!

Don’t buy!!! I accidentally ordered two of the same bags, emailed them right away, to cancel just one. The reply I got was that it wasn’t possible due to how fast the warehouse moves, even after minutes. And because I’m in Canada, it’s not eligible for exchanges or returns. I was really excited about the purse, but this just makes me not want it. This is a reflection of how little they care about customer service. I don’t want an apology, i just want the problem fixed and my money back.

Returns process is terribly horrible!

I placed an order on March 11, and then tried to cancel it. I was told that I couldn’t and that was fine. Since I purchased the additional protection, I said if it matches and meets my needs, I’ll keep it, if not I can return it First of all the shipping carrier is rubbish and their website furnished little to no help. So, I reached out to PLG customer service today to find out an expected delivery date, all they did was repeat everything I stated in my original email with bullet points! Tracking is ambiguous on the carrier's site and even though the bag finally arrived today, the box was terribly damaged. Thankfully, the bag was not. However, it’s NOT AT ALL the color that is pictured on the website. In the pictures, the bag is much lighter and has a nice sheen. This bag clearly has a matte finish and the color is much deeper than on the website. After the myriad of issues and the color debacle, I tried returning it today (the same day it arrived) only to find that I will now be charged $17.22 if I do choose to return it! Why did I pay extra then, for the “shipping and return protection”? I purchased the handbag at $110.60. Between taxes, the protection and the shipping fees, I paid about $132. Now I’m being told that to return the bag that does NOT MATCH the website pictures or description, I will have to pay an additional $17. This is unreasonable and terrible business practice. This was my first order with Portland Leather and I’m certain that it will be my last. The cautionary tale… make sure you’re willing to lose money if you need to return it. And if you do choose to return it, you’ll be so exasperated by the return process, you’ll likely want to give up. I am deeply disappointed.

This is a follow up review about…

This is a follow up review about customer service. I received a wrong item and submitted a request to have it exchanged. After about 2 weeks of not getting a response after a couple of trials, I submitted a review on Trust Pilot mentioning LPG customer was MIA. Shortly, after that I received an email from LPG acknowledging an error. The actual item was then shipped right away and I go to keep the wrong item as well

This company prides itself to be eco…

This company prides itself to be eco friendly and sustainable when it comes to the materials they use. To quote the website "...hides are tanned in award-winning facilities that not only meet but continually redefine the standards for eco-friendly practices in the field." Well, unfortunately this is not the theme when it comes to how they operate their business. I accidentally placed an order for a color that I did not want. I noticed my mistake immediately, within 5 minutes, and contacted Customer Service to change the order to a different color. I was advised as follows: "Once an order is placed, we’re not able to change or cancel it. If the Pebbled Bone purse isn’t quite what you need, you can exchange for the Nutmeg large size after it arrives"So to be clear, they sent out the order, knowing that it would be returned immediately. And then they recommended to order again. I'll let you be the judge whether you think this is sustainable and eco friendly. Needles to say that I had to pay for shippig as well as return of the product I did not want.

AMAZING customer service…

I've never experienced customer service as amazing as the Portland Leather one. I was confused about the rewards points system and why I didn't recived the ones for my birthday. Even though I got cranky in my emails, the customer service person that had to deal with me was calm cool and collected. After I apologized for my attitude, he still made me feel very appreciated!

Exactly what they advertise

I have purchased multiple items from PLG and every experience has been great. When I needed to return an item there was no issue. My shipments have been timely and customer service has been prompt and helpful every time I reach out. The quality of the product is always as advertised. Basic pretty real leather bags with minimal hardware. If you are looking for bags like Prada, Gucci and LV put out, PLG probably won’t appeal to you.
