I have booked a return flight from Kuala Lumpur to Athens 26th of February and 15th of April back from Athens to KUL.26th of March Qatar Airways cancelled the flight. I have tried to call the airline in Frankfurt many times without any success, tried to go in contact via different Qatar internal webpages, also without any success.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Qatar Airways. My flight was cancelled without any prior notification — no email, no SMS, nothing. I only found out after contacting customer service myself. Even more concerning, the same flight still appeared available online, which raises serious questions about transparency. This caused significant disruption as I had to travel on that specific date for my wedding. With no timely notice, I was forced to urgently purchase a replacement ticket at a much higher price just days before departure. In addition, I lost money on my accommodation, as I had to cancel my hotel booking due to the flight cancellation. This situation has resulted in considerable financial loss and stress, entirely due to Qatar Airways’ handling of the situation.I am still waiting for a fair resolution, including:Reimbursement of the additional flight costsCompensation for the inconvenience causedCoverage of accommodation cancellation lossesI hope Qatar Airways takes responsibility and resolves this matter promptly.

First time traveled with airline on 20/02/2026 and arrived on delhi on 21/02/26 . I saw that one of baggage was damaged and stuff was missing. Complaint to staff done the paperwork took 2 hours . I told what stuff is missing . I was prepared for my marriage anniversary and all the missing stuff was gifts for friends and families. Initially they are saying all will be paid .Due to the war flight was cancelled . Poor service. I have sent form to them . I don’t have invoice but some of them proof of purchase but they can’t pay anything advise take it from insurance. Qatar airways is the worse airline in the world with horrible customer service.

If you’re considering flying with Qatar Airways, here’s a simple rule: If another airline costs $100 more—take it. If it costs $500 more—still take it. Consider it insurance for your sanity. Our journey started with a cancelled flight. That’s not the problem. Flights get cancelled. The real experience begins when you try to get help.Customer service: 0/10 Every conversation felt like talking to a script, not a person. We explained, clarified, suggested solutions—and got the same copy-paste response every single time. It’s honestly impressive how consistently unhelpful it was.Willingness to help: 0/10 The only “solution” offered was a refund. Not assistance. Not rerouting. Just: here’s your money, good luck. It felt less like customer service and more like being quietly pushed out the door.Flexibility: 0/10 We offered multiple dates (April 2–5), routes, and even different destinations. The response? A hard no—every time. No effort, no initiative, no attempt to solve anything.Duty of care: 0/10 No hotel. No meals. No real support. When an airline cancels your trip, you expect basic care. Instead, we got silence and a refund option.Communication: 0/10 Different answers from different agents. Options appearing and disappearing. No clarity, no consistency, no ownership. It felt like no one actually had control over the situation.Overall experience: 0/10 This wasn’t just inconvenient—it was draining. You go from being a paying customer to feeling like an unwanted expense. We fully understand that disruptions happen. But this is where airlines show their true quality—and this experience made one thing very clear. Conclusion: The handling strongly suggested that the priority was minimizing responsibility rather than helping passengers. The heavy focus on refunds instead of rerouting or support leaves you feeling like you’re on your own the moment something goes wrong. If everything goes perfectly, you might have a good flight. If anything goes wrong—you’re essentially managing your own crisis.Pay more. Fly with someone else. It’s worth every single penny.

We fully understand that cancellations can happen, especially given the current situation. That’s not the issue. The issue is how Qatar Airways handles its customers when things go wrong. Our flight from Bangkok to Oslo (scheduled early April) was cancelled. Instead of being rerouted home, we were first offered a partial solution to Copenhagen (which is not our end destination) —leaving us to figure out and pay for the rest ourselves. Later, we were told the earliest available flight to Oslo was June 16 and that Copenhagen was no longer avaliable- this was simply not a realistic option. After more several attempts and hours on the phone, the only solution we were given was a refund. No rerouting, no partner airlines, no real attempt to get us to our final destination, despite our rights.Even more concerning, there was no offer of hotel, food, or basic care, despite us being stranded abroad. We showed full understanding for the situation and were flexible with the dates within reasonable time due to work commitments—but Qatar showed very little responsibility, flexibility or understanding in return. Instead of helping, we were met with resistance, long waiting hours and ultimately no solution. This is where an airline proves its quality. Unfortunately, this experience showed the exact opposite. If possible we would give zero stars or less. Never booking with this airline again and advise to stay away.

Pathetic service! Flights are cancelled by themselves but no one is picking up the phone to change the date! Finally clicked on refund tickets and to my surprise they charged the tax on it! Never gonna travel with this cheap service again!

Booked a flight from on Qatar official site plus a short hotel stopover… now I’m apparently going through an agent Qatar Airways Holidays (Tui). Despite Qatar offering flight changes and cancellations to me this company (Qatar airways holidays Tui) refuse to respond to emails so I have no way of accepting, changing or cancelling my flights. This company are shocking and Qatar Airways should be ashamed of themselves using them… totally unfair, misleading and will result in me losing lots of money through the worst communication and support I have ever received from a company! Do NOT go anywhere near Qatar airways or their horrible excuse of a company Qatar airways holidays (Tui) .. Shame on you both!!!!!

Despite the ongoing conflict, they are still refusing to grant a full cancellation for a booking in May. This reflects a very rigid and profit-driven approach.

I had an absolutely excellent experience with Qatar Airways at Manchester Airport and felt it was important to share. When I arrived at the airport, I discovered that my flight had been cancelled and rescheduled to an earlier departure time—something my travel agent (Flightcatchers) had unfortunately not informed me about. I had arrived four hours early to help my mum and dad make an amendment to their booking, so it came as quite a shock. However, what could have been a very stressful situation was completely turned around thanks to two members of staff, Deborah and Sanjeev.Deborah was truly exceptional. She went above and beyond to help us, handling all the necessary changes with great efficiency while keeping me fully informed throughout. Her calm, reassuring manner made a huge difference and kept us all at ease during the entire process.Sanjeev was also extremely helpful and supportive, helping everything run smoothly. The level of customer care we received was outstanding and made a lasting impression. Thanks to their professionalism and kindness, what started as a stressful experience turned into a very positive one.I would not hesitate to fly with Qatar Airways again based on this experience alone.

I usually love flying with Qatar Airways, but my recent flight from Doha to Jeddah was quite disappointing. In my experience, business class offers excellent service, but this time I flew economy and the difference in treatment was very noticeable. The ground staff, from check-in through to boarding, were rude and unprofessional.Unfortunately, the onboard experience was no better. There was only one meal option available, yet passengers were still asked to choose, which was confusing and unnecessary. In addition, a member of the cabin crew spoke to passengers in a rude and abrupt manner, lacking basic courtesy.I understand that service levels may vary between cabin classes, but all passengers should be treated with respect and professionalism. This experience fell far below expectations.Very disappointed.
