They don't always comply with their offers! BEWARE!

I had a bad experience with their offer of $15 rebate for 2 orders over $80 during the month of January 2026. As it happened, one item was out-of-stock on the 2nd order, so it ended up about $1.50 short. This was beyond my control and no mention of any out-of-stock disqualification in the terms. I would not recommend them.

Order was 5 hours late and had to cancel

Made an order that said would be delivered between 6-8pm. Which turned to 8-9pm. Which turned to 9-10 pm. Waste of time. I’ll never rely on them again.

Cancelled my membership after 8 years

I have been a shipt customer for 8 years. Over the last week and a half, I’ve had repeated issues with Shipt involving shoppers, billing, and customer service. I can’t drive due to health reasons, so I rely on Shipt for groceries. I’m extremely low-income and keep only a small amount on my debit card because Shipt requires a deposit to place orders when using EBT. On January 26, I was incorrectly charged $5.50 to my debit card instead of EBT. The shopper was also smoking cigarettes in the vehicle with my groceries. When I brought the order inside, my entire home smelled like cigarettes from just two bags. I had to wipe down the items and throw away the bags. I contacted support the next day via chat to report both the incorrect charge and smoke contamination, but the agent ended the chat after I explained the issue. I then emailed and never received a response.Friday another shopper marked multiple items as “found,” then texted afterward saying he forgot them and asked me to give him cash at delivery so he could go back and buy them. Yesterday, I placed another order that was entirely EBT-eligible, yet I was still charged $18.48 to my debit card. I submitted screenshots showing the items were EBT-eligible. Customer service has been awful: the email representative was rude, offered no solution, and I was told they couldn’t refund. Since that email interaction, every time I try to use chat support, the moment I explain the issue, the agent ends the chat.Shipt used to be reliable, but it has become completely unacceptable. Improper charges to my backup debit card, inappropriate shopper behavior, and support repeatedly disconnecting or refusing to help has created a serious hardship for someone who depends on delivery for basic food needs.

I was a shopper for shipped

I was a shopper for shipped. I would take extra time to communicate with the customer and find a replacement item or wait in the store employee to find the item in the back storage. This would happen all the time and result in late deliveries. It might take you 50 minutes to deliver something that the app algorithm estimated would take 40 minutes. In addition the customers through using the ship app would see and be told something’s available when in fact, it’s not available in the store at all. I would never leave the store without checking with at least one maybe two employees to verify an item wasn’t available. If it wasn’t available, I would take pictures and help them locate a similar product. A good example of a late delivery would be customer order a book that definitely wasn’t in stock even though the shipped said it was. The customer requested to cancel the entire order because of this I offered to look for a replacement book and take the time to go through the other books help them find something comparable, not only securing a sale for target but keeping the customer happy. Ultimately thesale was made and the order was fulfilled and delivered late. I voiced these concerns with customer service with no answer. No way to be addressed or fixed. Shipped takes no time or care into any of these situations that up late deliveries (according to their algorithm, not customers complaining) and fires you. I often the same people that receive late deliveries marked me as a preferred shopper while the company permanently banned me. Absolute terrible company to work for. I can’t warn you enough to not waste your time with these people. You will find yourself a high rated, and preferred shipt shopper with no work immediately. In a most simple form, the responsibility of this job is to locate the items in the store, fulfill the order and deliver it. Shipt would rather unfinished and canceled orders rather than something arriving late( by 15 or 20 minutes). Shipt ratings will go down because the shoppers are not able to take the time to look for things or wait for them to check the back. This will ultimately result with shipped customers getting upset with so many failed orders and missing items and shipt is responsible and deserve there demise.

Subpar

My experience with Shipt has been subpar. I don’t know why Target has this company for delivery! The shoppers I have encountered have been slow, inattentive, rude! And then expecting of a big tip. I always tip however how I tip is based on customer service. I’ve had orders not picked up after two hours, had the wrong items delivered, and had shoppers not want to bring the items to my door. I even had one shopper tell me that I could “come to the store and see how busy it is and how limited the stock is” which defeats the purpose of having a shopper. Very disappointing experience. I’m canceling my Target delivery service.

Unrealistic Expectations

I'd give them a negative 5 if I could. They clearly don't actually do the work, they're not put there in the field to understand the shopper experience because their standards are unrealistic. They set you up for failure, then penalize you! They deactivated my account and then kept me from accessing my earnings, money I thought I'd have access to when I was ready to withdraw it and now I have to wait a week. They are a bunch of clowns and will eventually disappear because drivers will get tired of their BS! Customers don't understand the work that goes into hustling for these orders and many of them don't tip at all! I received a .01 tip from someone. People are cruel and evil and I do not want to work for a company who protects cruel, evil cheapskates.

1st and last time using this company

If i could give zero stars I definitely would. I placed an order at 556pm on the target app. Delivery time was 7 to 8. No none ever claimed my order. They use the excuse they are so busy and not enough drivers. You can't tell me in an almost 5 hour period no one was available? I don't believe that. I just think it was negligence.

Shipt is terrible

Shipt is terrible. Every single time I've tried to use it with Target my order is delayed. The most annoying thing is they will just send a text every hour saying the delivery time has moved to the next hour, with no explanation as to why.

I had to pay $9.99 extra for same day…

I had to pay $9.99 extra for same day delivery since i needed my item for my first day at my new job the next morning and it was apparently rescheduled to ship to me the same time im supposed to start my job. If i paid extra for same day delivery then i should have gotten it. Now i am going to get written up on my first day of my job just because of this company. Never doing this again!
