Simple and straightforward
Finding someone to complete the task was very simple and straightforward. Unfortunately, I think the fee that Taskrabbit charges is very high.

The tasker was incredibly helpful
The tasker was incredibly helpful. This low rating has nothing to do with the tasker. I believe task rabbit needs to be more transparent with costs involved in each task. The task rabbit processing fee was nearly $25 but was only listed after the task closed. All fees need to be quote before reserving the task

Experienced IKEA furniture installer
Mohammad showed up on time. He is pretty experienced with installing the ikea wardrobes. All good but he missed installing the handles. I did not know that until he left and I found out I could not open the doors. But I told him he does not have to come back for that and it took me about 30 minutes to install the handles by myself. Otherwise I would give him 5. He did call me later to check if I was able to get the handles installed.

Don’t use this platform
Mover tried to charge me more time than the actual time he finished. I had to help to make things go faster. My items were damaged and Taskrabbit charges too much fees.

Snow Removal
I am grateful the Taskrabbit shoveled the snow but I felt my back was up against the wall when it came down to the number of hours. When I originally reached out to him, his blurb didn't say 2 hours minimum and he had a partner. However, it was later updated with this information. At any rate, when on the verge of confirming the appointment, he told me the minimum would be 4 hours ( 2 for him and 2 for his partner). I would have dropped him, but I looked up others at this point, and it was going to be another 2 days before someone was available. So we agreed to 3 hours. The job took 50 minutes. In my original request I has specified two walkways cleared and the sidewalk. Because he made it sound that was going to take more then 4 hours, I amended my request. In addition, I had in my original request to put down salt, when he texted me he was finished, I reminded him about the salt and he said he didn't have any. Finally, I also object to Taskrabbit getting a service fee for each hour. I paid roughly an additional $60 for 2 hours of service fees that weren't even worked. You need to charge a one time flat fee. The pricing seems sketchy.
