I’ve used The Parking Spot several times while flying out of different U.S. airports, and the experience has always been smooth. The shuttle service is fast, the staff is friendly, and I never feel rushed. It makes airport travel much less stressful, especially during busy travel days.

We waited for 20 minutes for a bus in 1 degree temperatures. I have used the parking spot for years but this is the second time now in the last 3 months that we have had this issue! 20 minutes both days times waiting while park and go buses we’re always there. Time to change where we park I guess!

This was our first experience with ParkingSpot. Our nephew had left our car at the Hartford/Springfield Bradley Field parking lot. Upon our arrival, we easily found the shuttle outside the baggage claim. Had an easy short ride to the ParkingSpot office. Then the trouble began.A snow storm came through the night before, dumping about 6” in the area. The storm caused many flight cancellations and delays. Our flight was delayed three hours, so our plane arrived at 11 pm at Bradley Field – along with several other delayed flights. There were about 30 people already awaiting cars when we arrived. This was a Saturday night on the holiday weekend between Christmas and New Year’s. There were only two parking attendants, plus one person at the counter in the office, who announced it was his first day on the job.We waited 2-1/2 hours for our car to finally be delivered to the pickup area. At one point, there were over 80 people waiting for cars. Between the two attendants, they were able to bring a car to the pickup area at the rate of one about each 5 minutes. At the rate of 12 to 15 cars per hours, we were lucky to wait only 2-1/2 hours.We requested to be given the keys and location of our car, to be told it was against company policy because of “liability”. After two hours, we called the police who informed us there was nothing they could do, but this wasn’t the first time they had been called about this problem.There are no notice boards in the waiting area to let you know the order in which cars have been requested, the estimated time until delivery, and most of all, no notice that your car has been delivered. Several times we watched as cars were delivered, left running, and not claimed. One car sat running for ½ hours before one of the attendants finally moved it.There were also less than five seats in the waiting area. I am 81 years old, had been traveling since 8:00 that morning, and now had to stand for 2-1/2 hours from 11:30 pm to 2:00 a.m. Thankfully, my 86 year old traveling companion got a seat after one hour. There were many elderly people, as well as very young children in the same situation. At the peak of the congestion, there was no room in the office, so new arrivals had to stand out in 17ºf weather, some of whom had arrived from Orlando, FL dressed in shorts and light jackets.I’m sure it is hard to find help on a holiday Saturday night on a day when late flights could be easily anticipated, but think it was irresponsible of this company to not plan better – or have someone on call to bail out the poor desk attendant dealing with an angry group of people.
