I recently experienced a flight disruption due to extreme weather in New York.Initially, there were some communication challenges, but once my case was escalated, it was handled professionally and efficiently.Manager Gary took the time to review my situation carefully and ensured that a reasonable alternative was arranged.Customer service agent Jose was particularly helpful — he followed up promptly, provided written confirmation, and clearly explained the next steps in the process.Given the high pressure situation caused by the severe storm, I appreciate the effort made to resolve my case fairly and within a reasonable timeframe.Thank you for your assistance.

I hv been Travel Up customer for over 14 years. Previously service was good, never had any issues as they had more staff to deal with queries but 2024 onwards service went downhill, focus on profit not service, you cannot talk to anyone as on average over one hour wait for tel chat and web chat over 30min wait, you can check urself anytime by calling them! If anything goes wrong or flight schedule changes or any other issues after you have paid then please do not expect anything postive, it took very long time to get my partial refund back after flight got cancelled and Travel Up tried all possible excuses and such a long wait to get refund, i am now seriously considering to take up this matter with the regulators based on my such a stressful experience and the amount of wasting my own time. Ater so many years of loyal customer I and all my family and friend circle will never use them again. Any company that focuses solely on ncreasing turn over and let thier customer suffer with poor service, will not sustain much longer, if you really want to serve customers, please monitor your response timing for tel, webchat and email response timing and stop using fake names for staff members please and train your staff and improve your complaints handling process! Final warning to all, your data will be shared with their sister company for marketing and sales without your consent and you could be bombarded by shopping emails by their sister company who was passed my data without my consent and I am now considering to seek guidance from ICO on this matter. I have given my honest feedback and also read all comments below for past few months on this platform and other customer review platforms clearly showing the real state of play with most of the isuses linking to poor customer service and poor resolution processes.

Flights were a good price, but paying was problematic. We couldn't pay on our Amex card, despite it being offered as an option and then using Amex via Paypal was over £300 more so we had to revert back to paying by a card.
