Second time going in store

Second time going in store. Horrible service & attitudeI tried ordering online but it would not honor the discounts I was supposed to receive ordering over $100.Forced to go in store, both times when I visited, they would not honor my discounts. I left without buying

Unexpected Price Increase

I had an auto-delivery set up for an omega-3 vitamin at a specific price that was advertised when I signed up. When my next shipment processed and was shipped, the price was suddenly and significantly higher, with no notice or explanation.I called customer service to ask about the change, but the representative was also confused and couldn’t explain why the price was different. What made it more confusing was that a future shipment scheduled for March was still showing the original price I had signed up for. I was told someone would look into it and get back to me but no one ever did.Two weeks later, today, I called again and was told that auto-delivery does not lock in a price and that prices can change at any time. That was never clearly communicated to me when I signed up. The explanation basically boiled down to: prices fluctuate, and it’s on the customer to check the price before each shipment. Because of the lack of transparency and follow-up, I ended up canceling my auto-delivery. Just a heads-up to anyone considering this service --be careful, because the cost may increase without warning and it's on you to check.

The manager at the vitamin Shoppe at…

The manager at the vitamin Shoppe at Perimeter in Atlanta, Georgia has decided that she will not allow any customer to scan in her store for Shopkick. Shopkick is an app that the Vitamin Shoppe as well as individual companies that sell the product in the Vitamin Shoppe work with in order to bring business into the Vitamin Shoppe. I tried to explain all of this to her, but she was adamant that corporate Vitamin Shoppe had instructed her to stop all scanning in the store on Shopkick. I’ve been going to the store for many years and this is the first employee who I encountered, who wasn’t anything but helpful and professional. She has not only removed all of the Pure Encapsulations from the shelf, but went so far as to tamper with the barcodes still on the shelf so that scanning is impossible. I have reported this to Shopkick, pure encapsulations, and corporate Vitamin Shoppe. I am an integrative holistic MD who used to refer patients to the Vitamin Shoppe.

Eric from Vitamin Shoppe in Roseville is great!

I shop at Vitamin Shoppe in Roseville, MN. Eric who works there is amazing and so informative. I have a hard time shutting down my busy brain so I can go to sleep. Eric recommended Pharma GABA for relaxation and mental focus. It has helped me so much. I am able to relax and go to sleep. When I sleep, I sleep very well. I also noticed a decrease in my pain from Osteoarthritis. I appreciate Eric's help each time I visit the Vitamin Shoppe.

Everyone does not like shipping but…

Everyone does not like shipping but when shipping is automatically selected during check out and I only pickup from store, if I submit the order mistakenly, they never allow cancellation even seconds after submitting. Which is very irritating because this error has happened multiple times due to Vitamin shoppes website automatically selecting shipment. I then have to spend more money to pick up in store. This is irritating and has happened enough for me to leave a bad review because their customer service is worthless.

They had the product i needed!!

They had the product i needed when no one else did! Been having issues looking for my energy drink that ive been drinking for a long time, and then found that the energy drink company was no longer gonna make it and after awhile I couldn't find it locally or even on the major online retailer that everyone uses but I found the vitamin shoppe looking online and they have had it everytime I called highly recommend this company

Forget having them ship items

I usually pickup items and that works well. Forget getting items shipped. My current need was not in stock for pickup, so I order it and after a week I'm still waiting.So, I will find a better vendor.

I used to love them

I used to love them. However i was having a problem getting a product. Kept being told lies. Than i got a call months ago from someone in corporate. I was shocked. Unfortunately my phone never rang. She left a voice mail to call her back. I left probably 10 messages over several months. I gave up she never called back. They are loising my buisness. Customer service is very important and thats why im given them a 1. There are MANY other good places but i really liked them. What happened to you all. So sad.

It’s my two year anniversary with The…

It’s my two year anniversary with The Vitamin Shoppe. I’m grateful for Fugate (TVS store manager) and The Vitamin Shoppe located on Brook Rd., Glen Allen, VA for the following reason.When I was learning how to heal my cancer (in the very beginning, circa March 2023), I experimented with a variety of nutraceuticals (because experimentation is the only way to create lasting solutions). One day, I decided to test my physical limits using a food supplement. Within minutes, I realized that I had exceeded my physical limits and I couldn’t find my activated charcoal. I rushed to the local Urgent Care clinic and explained my dilemma and need of activated charcoal. The nurse on duty apathetically stated that she could not help me (even though I had health insurance and cash-on-hand). Perplexed, my mind raced to think of a solution, because my time was running out. I was light-headed, weak, and I knew I would pass out in minutes. Mustering all my focus, I remembered a Vitamin Shoppe I had visited (in another town), so I checked my coordinates and a TVS was literally under 5 minutes away from me. I rushed into TVS and quickly explained to the CSR that I had accidentally poisoned myself and I needed a bottle of water and activated charcoal to absorb the consumed food. The Vitamin Shoppe employee (Fugate - store manager) quickly and calmly brought me the two items. He helped me open the capsules to add the charcoal to the water. In seconds, I drank the entire solution. I asked Fugate if I could sit on his store front lawn and if I became unconscious would he kindly call 911. Instead, he said I could sit on one of his chairs inside the store to wait, so with gratitude, I did. In 15 minutes, I felt better. I asked to pay for the water and the charcoal, but Fugate said there was no charge. Two years later, I’ve learned how to heal my body using nutrition and many of my nutraceuticals are purchased from The Vitamin Shoppe because I am now a regular customer. I enjoy conversing with the staff and I applaud TVS’s new line of stearate-free nutraceuticals such as the milk thistle which is important for proper liver detoxification.

My experiences in the past were okay

My experiences in the past were okay. I usually order online for a store pick up. It has become extremely difficult to do so lately due to the store being out of stock, so a few times I ordered for delivery. This wasn't much better. The thing that is causing me to consider other alternatives is due to their advertising. I got a card in the mail saying that I was a special level customer and that I was being offered 25% off my whole order and I could pick the date to use the card. There was an expiration date for the use of the card, but that wasn't my problem. My problem was the small print on the card. There were like 8 lines of small print listing the vitamins that were excluded. The Vitamin Shoppe brand was one of them. So when I went online and spent the time to create a $300 order, everything gave me the message that this item was not eligible for the deal. I called, went to the store and emailed. I got no response from the email and the store and call told me that the Vitamin Shoppe brand was excluded. Are all these companies the same?
