not sure what happened to this company

EDIT: Since Sunday, they have promised over and over that they'd refund the cost of the professional installation I had to use. Now they say they are issuing a store credit. That's a complete reversal of what they said, and I am not agreeing to it. xxxI bought a dining room set that needed to be put together. I got thru 98% installing one of the chairs, only to find that there was no way (no drilled holes) to connect it to the base. I went back and forth with this company, and we agreed that I'd get a professional installer to come... at their expense. they promised me a refund within 3-4 business days, and I had to pay yet again meanwhile on my own dime. Now it's past 5 days, and there's no refund. When I inquire with their so-called support team, I keep getting told different things - the most recent is that It can take 2 weeks to get a refund. I have zero faith in this company, and no one should be buying anything from them.

Purchased items during president day…

Purchased items during president day sale for them to lower the price during the same sale! And refused to honor the new price. Its also costing me ov we received 62.00 to return the unopened product. I have no intentions of ever doing business with company again since they couldn't make it right. And to learn that this type of business behavior is across the board is frightening to know they are still in business.

Ordered a dresser 12/9

Ordered a dresser 12/9. Was given arrival of 12/23. Item did not arrive. I checked with customer service showed new delivery 12 /29. Did not arrive. I checked deliver now shows May6! I ordered different dresser. canceled the first item but now shows still ordered and can't be cancelled. Chat AI was no help and I can't get any other customer service they owe me $350.00 with no way to collect

I applied for a credit card got…

I applied for a credit card got approved tried to use my $40 1st buyer offer if you use the card. My cart was $133 it has too be over $100to use the $40 I tried to use the $40 would not let me. So now I'm stuck with a hard check on my credit and I didn't buy anything at all or used the card and will not use the card

Christmas ornament …

I ordered a outside Christmas decoration early Dec. Now late Feb still not received. Tracking said delivered but wasn't after l pushed l was told delivered to wrong address l will get it in a week which passed still no item then told a jew one sent. We took it up with our financial institution.

This company has so many problems

This company has so many problems. They present information that is confusing, conflicting and down right deceitful. Here is an example. They advertise a product for sale. Not bad you see a great price. You asked for only solid wood. A lovely hard wood name shows up in the ad. Then you see a conflicting note, engineered wood, pine. Then you ask for a king size price. The description shares 4 different sizes for a King. Price change . Then it shows, out of stock. Then it's back in stock, then its out three times in 5 minutes. The reviews show problems with assembly. No problem sign up and pay for assembly. Whats the cost? first $68 then $75 then gone, still gone , sign up for extended contract $55 for 3 yrs, 10 years for $210. Go back to check on assemble still not there. They really don't want to do this assembly. Nor do they want to sell this product.

Terrible

Terrible. I had an order for floor tile ( 7 boxes). They made no effort to box these. Fedex broke them all before they even arrived. They gave me a store credit so I ordered another tile shipment ( 8 boxes). No boxes just shipped tiles and guess what, Fedex destroyed 8 boxes before they even arrived. Wayfair is a 12 ring circus. Don't buy tiles. Don't buy anything big.I had to call again. They tried to issue this to me in store credits. You need to seriously evaluate your shipping procedures. It’s an epic waste of money this causes

I placed an order for 2 free standing…

I placed an order for 2 free standing closets - started putting one together and several pieces had cracks and/or paint was coming off.I contacted Wayfare requested a return and refund.They give me the run around and keep telling me it’s going to be 2-3 days before they get back with me.This is unacceptable customer service.All I can say is think twice before ordering from Wayfair. They don’t stand up to the return policy mentioned on their website.

Worst decison of my adult life

Worst decison of my adult life. Bought an out door set for 2k plus, absolute garbage. I am embarassed to share a picture of what they look like now. I could not give them away, will cost me an additional $150 to have the out door set hauled off. This set should not have been sold as an out door set, it is absolute junk.
