Overall pretty solid ,I've had a whoop for almost 4 years

I've had a whoop for almost 4 years. For the most part I enjoy the data and use it track and improve my health. My wife got it for me to help with sleep . It has helped me sleep faster but still tells me I need more sleep. It provides insights that I wouldn't be able to find else where. I used the dairy for a bit but it got to repetitive to answer 100 questions after every sleep or workout so I stopped tracking that . The Cost is a huge drawback the yearly membership without constant improvements or features is hard to justify but I keep it as the other wearables are similar service fees except for Garmin which is a one time fee. Most of the time I like the no screen but sometimes I think watch face or a screen to view texts or missed calls for emergencies would be useful. The AI coach is useful sometimes the app allows me to screenshot a workout and apply that format to my workout results which is pretty neat. I tried to use it to calculate muscular load but it threw an error. I like the variety of activities it tracks but I normally just stick with functional fitness it's hard to track each exercise I complete with a workout and log when I streched warmed up did cardio lifted weights. This may just be a user error on my part. The band is pretty comfortable I do go through quite a bit of bands they normally only last 6-8 months. I recommended it to my brother to help with sleep. Overall its pretty solid and would recommend I pretty much wear it everyday

A absolute scam and waist of money

A absolute scam and waist of money. I’ve had my whoop for a year now and recently upgraded to the 12 month membership wish the new 5.0 device, it has taken two weeks to not even process my order yet. I just tried asking for a refund because I am honestly fed up with this company. But got told to wait for the device to come and pair it, then log a return. With no insight in to when this thing is comming. Save your money and time and go somewhere else

Very good insights on health and sleep

Very good insights on health and sleep. Impact of eg alcohol and sugar on sleep very interesting. And impact of a heavy workout.

7 years with the Whoop community and I love it!

I don’t use WHOOP to count steps or chase arbitrary targets — I use it to understand myself. For me, it’s about clarity. It’s about waking up and knowing whether to push harder or pull back. It’s about recognising that performance isn’t just built in the gym, but in the quiet moments — in sleep, recovery, and the discipline to listen to what my body is actually telling me, not what my ego wants to hear.WHOOP gives me data, but more importantly, it gives me awareness. It removes the guesswork. It challenges the narrative that more is always better and replaces it with something far more powerful: intention. Some days, winning looks like intensity — pushing limits, chasing strain, proving resilience. Other days, winning is restraint — choosing recovery, protecting energy, and playing the long game.I’m not interested in burning out for short-term results. I’m building something sustainable. Stronger, fitter, sharper — not just for now, but for the long run.WHOOP isn’t the motivation. It’s the mirror. And I use it to show up better, every single day.

Best-in-Class Performance Tracking Undermined by Persistent Band Quality Issues

There's no denying that Whoop has been a significant contributor to my overall health. My Apple Watch is literally redundant when I'm at the gym or swimming. I would have given Whoop 5 stars, but their bands are a real disappointment. They have had quality and durability issues from Day 1. Having said that, I am a diehard Whoop fanatic and I can't imagine life without a Whoop on my wrist.

I've used WHOOP since 2020 and it has…

I've used WHOOP since 2020 and it has helped me improve my fitness. It tracks my lifting output far better than any other fitness tracker that I have used in the past. WHOOP is a two way relationship, if you input your behaviors, strength training workouts, etc. then you are going to have a better experience. It does a lot of the work, but the information you get back is only as good ad the data you put in.
