I have purchased my monthly RYO…
I have purchased my monthly RYO supplies from Windy City Cigars several times and have generally been happy with the quality of the products, care taken to protect them during shipping, and the shipping times. I was disappointed on my most recent order to find the 1 lb. bag of The Good Stuff Memthol tobacco I received was already open because the zip lock strip at the top was no longer attached to one side of the bag more than half way down the strip, which would have required using some type of glue to re-attach, and I wasn't willing to contaminate an entire pound of tobacco with the fumes and toxins in glue that would be stron- enough to hold the zip lock strip in place through a month's worth of opening and closing the bag. This wouldn't have been that big of a deal except it meant I had to dump the tobacco into a large pickle jar to rehydrate it a bit and keep it somewhat fresh. This made it very difficult for me to roll all month because I don't have a fancy automatic injector machine, I still use a hand roller machine, and I'm not able to prepare a large amount of tobacco at a time because I live in one of the hottest, driest places in the US and even if a keep it in doubled ZipLock bags, the tobacco is too dry to roll within 6 hours and just turns into powder. I usually take a pinch out of the the 1 lb bag with enough to roll 2 smokes each time. The problem was, in order to screw the lid on the jar tight enough to prevent the tobacco from drying out after each time I opening it, I have a health condition that causes my arm strength and hand grip to not always work the way I want them to, and several times I wasn't able to unscrew the lid for 2-3 days until my hand/arm strength returned. I learned my lesson though, I need to invest in some large, durable, reuasable, easy to seal/unseal, airtight storage bags so I don't have to go through the same experience again. But the second week the tobacco was so dry it was too powdery to roll and I ended up throwing away about 2/3 of the 1 lb bag I bought. Today its time for me to place my monthly restock order, and after this last month, I going to try out a few other options online and hope I receive products worth paying for.

Tobacco is of top quality, and fresh. Delivery was very quick. The price, including shipping, is on par with my local smoke shop...but I cannot find the superior tobacco that is sold here. I can recommend shopping with this company.

I've been ordering from this company…
I've been ordering from this company for at least 10 yrs. I've never had 1 problem with them. Yes, it would take at least a week and half to get my order, sometimes a little longer. But you must understand that I was living in Alaska. Now that I live in the lower 48's, I get my order within 4 days. They are promt, profesional and honest. Absolutely love my product. One thing that I do miss, when I first started ordering through them, is that they would always send a free disposable lighter in the box. But I understand that's an added expense and for Alaska, it's illegal to send anything flammable through the mail..... also, I wish the would sell "Top" rolling papers buy the box. Other than that, I'll continue to make my purchases through this company! My hats off, thank you "Windy City Cigars"!!!
