Damaged book, 40% refund pushed on me even though I wasn't given an option and didn't want this!
Ordered a book from Wordery via eBay (brand new). Arrived badly damaged, due to the way it had been handled during packaging (pushed into the packaging, dirty finger prints on the pages). The outer packaging itself was fine and not damaged, so it wasn't an Evri delivery issue. I emailed to enquire about the options and sent photos. Without being given options, I was refunded 40% of the book cost. I didn't want this - I really wanted either a full refund (and I was happy to return the book at Wordery's cost) or a non damaged replacement sent out to me. I rejected the 40% refund immediately although they'd processed it without giving me the chance to decline it, and I'm waiting on a further update. I will not order from Wordery again.

No Longer InternationalShipping
Since they got the new site on, internationalshipping is gone. The past experiences were amazing and they were always correct. I was expecting the new site to bring new things instead they completely block themselfs just on UK. Is just a disappointment since I was a long time customer.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
Absolute joke of a company with the worst customer service I've ever had the displeasure to experience. Ordered from them on 23/09/25 for a birthday on 3/10/25. It is now 9/10/25 and my order has still not arrived despite it being tracked. They lied about the date it was posted and are now refusing to refund.

Terrible service
Terrible service tracking said this book would arrive by 15th August. On tracking it appeared it was not posted to me until the 15th! Needed this to be collected on 16th to be taken to Canada. As did not arrive until Monday 18th means I will have to post to Canada which is expensive and I am a pensioner. Would never use wordery again. I did request compensation for postage and inconvenience which was refused. Emails sent to me were contradictory.

This seems to be a fake site. No website and no book delivered. BEWARE. No tracking available despite all the posituve reviews.

Great service, as usual.
This was my umpteenth order, I always happily return. The ordering process is straightforward, it’s easy to track all orders, and the books always arrive, even if they may take the scenic route. I’m in no hurry and prefer having a solid offer of editions to choose from (or at least being able to know what I’m getting), that comes with complimentary shipping to boot.

Excellent selection of children’s books.
I found just the book I was looking for. Mt order was dealt with quickly. Two of the books arrived very quickly, the third book took a little longer. I didn’t mind because it was a book I particularly wanted for my grandson.
