It seemed like a solid concept, but the actual product just didn't perform the way I was hoping it would.

Stay away from this company. Returning items with Thinx is practically impossible because they've set up so many obstacles to reaching an actual person who can help. You need approval before you can even send something back, and the approval never came for me. I kept going in circles talking to their automated chat system and eventually just threw the underwear out because it was too frustrating. I also found out after I'd already bought that Thinx has a class action lawsuit against them because they put PFAs, which are toxic chemicals, in their products while lying to customers about it.

The actual underwear works fine, but how they sold it to me was pretty sketchy. I ordered items that were on sale and somehow the size switched without me noticing as I was moving from selection to checkout. I normally wear a large, and somehow I ended up with multiple pairs in size 1X and 2X, which is absolutely huge on me. There's no way I would have intentionally skipped over other sizes to order something four times too big. They insist I'm the one who ordered the wrong sizes, but that just doesn't make sense.

I've been trying to reach out to this company for weeks about the federal lawsuit they're involved in, and they completely ignore my messages. They're being sued in court for making false claims about their products and allegedly using harmful chemicals that they said weren't in there. I was asked to join the class action but decided to pursue my own case instead since I've trusted their products for years based on what they said. I'm really worried about what damage their products might have caused me over time. Anyone thinking about buying from this company needs to know they're currently in legal trouble for false advertising and potentially dangerous materials, and you should probably stay away.

I got hit with import taxes, which I get isn't really their issue, but it definitely bumped up the overall cost. The medium size I ordered feels way too snug, especially around the leg openings. Even after just a year of use, they're already falling apart. They don't absorb as well as advertised either. This is honestly the most unethical and dishonest business I've ever encountered. Please don't order from them.

That advertisement you're running with the woman who's been using the product for thirty-five years is honestly one of the most offensive commercials I've ever seen. It's completely turned me off your brand, and I'm going to make sure other people know how I feel about it.

They keep sending me marketing emails even though I placed an order more than five years ago and unsubscribed from their newsletter multiple times. Plus, I think there are tons of better options available nowadays in terms of how long they last, variety of styles, and how sustainable they are.

You'll feel pretty great about ditching regular pads and tampons when you first get these. But fast forward a few months and you'll be leaking within thirty minutes of wearing them. It's wild how much money they throw at advertising and messaging about women's freedom during their periods, but the only freedom I felt was tossing them in the garbage. If you're hoping to find an eco-friendly long-term solution for managing your period, I'd seriously suggest looking elsewhere. These just don't work. The mess and stress of constantly ruining clothes, bedding, and furniture isn't worth it.

This period underwear performs pretty well overall. They ship quickly and the quality is solid. My only real complaint is the price point, which is why I'm giving four stars instead of five.

Their customer service told me I should've known about a customs fee because they mention it at checkout and on their site, and they actually used a sarcastic exclamation mark! I sent them screenshots of every single checkout page showing there's zero warning about customs, whether I used the phone site or Apple Pay, but they just kept insisting I missed it. They did show me screenshots from their US site that has the warnings, but they refused to admit those warnings weren't there for me. At least they offered me a refund, which I'm still waiting on. I never actually got the underwear to test them out.

The customs charges really turned me off from coming back. I had absolutely no heads up that I'd be charged extra for customs, which honestly feels shady. On top of that, the prices are already pretty high to begin with.
