Ordered Astrancia Sparkling Star and Dicentra Burning Heart for $11.95 and $14.95 respectively and they arrived as tiny, bare-root plants. Really disappointed for the price. I'm going back to shopping at my local nursery and skipping the mail-order catalogs from now on.
I'm not planning to buy again. Ordered 3 blue boa and 3 lavender plants and 2 of the boas are practically dead while one lavender didn't make it. I sent multiple emails with no replies and called several times but nobody picked up. The customer support was nonexistent and only about half the plants were actually viable. Spent $90 and just don't feel confident ordering from them anymore.

She processed a credit for me in a couple days and even mentioned ordering early for fall since things sell out quick. Honestly, Wayside and Park Seeds get a lot of unwarranted criticism. I've ordered from tons of online growers and these folks deliver genuine quality service.

Recently though I picked up something totally different: Pennsylvania sedge. Not a showy specimen by any means, but a solid utility plant for the garden, and I was thrilled to buy it from a nursery I really value, and at an excellent price. Much appreciated!
