I'll be straight up here. Cracker Barrel wasn't my first choice for lunch, but our friends picked this place in Greenville, Texas so we went along. My husband and I each ordered a lunch combo with water. We both got the fried fish, and I had whole kernel corn. That corn was inedible. Either it was overcooked or something went wrong, but it was tough and chewy. The entire meal was underwhelming, to put it kindly. But my biggest issue is the price. For two lunch plates that honestly weren't good at all, we paid close to $46. We have plenty of money to eat out regularly, but charging that much for what they gave us felt completely unreasonable.

Got just one syrup bottle for three pancakes, which is already disappointing. But what really bothered me was the container they handed me. Who knows how many people have handled it or what's been in there before? The whole situation felt unhygienic and not right at all.

I ordered a steak and shrimp combo with three sides, a buttermilk biscuit, and an iced vanilla latte for takeout. I was really let down by how things went. When I got home, I noticed the biscuits weren't in the bag and there were no utensils. On top of that, my food was lukewarm. I had specifically asked for an iced vanilla latte, but they put it in a hot coffee cup instead. When I mentioned this to the staff, they said there weren't any cold cups available, so that's what they used. Nobody told me about this substitution when I ordered, and it's not an acceptable replacement for a cold beverage. The whole experience was really frustrating.

My eggs came with cheese even though I clearly said no cheese due to my lactose intolerance. They also forgot to include my hash browns. My friend's pancakes were cold and tough. The whole wait felt forever. I won't be going back to Cracker Barrel.

I live in Greenville, Texas and used to love bringing my family and friends to Cracker Barrel every single week. But the last several times have been really disappointing. The food quality has gone downhill fast. The waitstaff is still doing their best, but even they can see the problems with what's coming out of the kitchen. I've had to send dishes back multiple times. My okra was barely cooked and tough. This has become the normal experience now and it's getting worse. Recently my daughter's plate had dried food stuck on it. I hate giving negative reviews, but when you're charging this much per plate, there's no excuse for the quality we've been getting. They can definitely do better.

We've been regular customers at Cracker Barrel for quite a while now, and the food and service just keep being great. On our last visit, we tried the chicken campfire meal and it was absolutely delicious!

Lorrie took great care of us during our meal. She provided outstanding service from start to finish.

Visited the Cracker Barrel in Dry Ridge, Kentucky on a Thursday in late February. Carla was our server and she was phenomenal. When my friend and I asked to be moved to a table by the window, she happily switched us over without any hassle, and that smile of hers was unforgettable. She took our drink order and came right back. As we ordered, she was personable and witty and we had a fun conversation going. She brought our meal out promptly, and when I requested more butter and jelly, she brought it back immediately. She checked on our table three different times to refill drinks and see if we needed anything. Carla deserves recognition for the outstanding work she does. She even mentioned she won't wear a name tag until the restaurant puts four stars on her apron with her name embroidered on it. Cracker Barrel would benefit from having more people like her on their team!

Teresa was an amazing server who really paid attention to what we needed. The food itself was delicious. We'll definitely be coming back and hope to have Teresa serve us again. The cashier, Bonnie, was wonderful too. Thanks for making it such a memorable visit!

I've consistently had positive experiences at Cracker Barrel. The quality of the food is excellent and the staff really goes the extra mile. The prices are fair for what you get. Been going to the one in Kokomo, Indiana.

Had an awesome visit to Cracker Barrel! My servers Alyce and Elizabeth were fantastic and really attentive. They kept checking in on me throughout the meal and nailed every order. The hostess Tania was friendly too. Can't wait to go back, especially around the holidays!

Just finished dinner at the Cracker Barrel on Chaffee Road in Jacksonville, Florida and I have to say Haley, my waitress, was incredible! The service was top notch and she was genuinely one of the friendliest people I've met. My meal was tasty, and their bacon is seriously amazing.

I visit the Cracker Barrel in Kissimmee, Florida every week. Nancy is absolutely wonderful, and Barbara and Delite treat me like I'm part of the family. They always brighten my day with their warm greetings and genuine care. These folks work the retail floor and they go above and beyond every single time. They're real assets to the store and company, and I appreciate them more than they know.

Haven't visited Cracker Barrel since the pandemic started, so I decided to check out the location near me and grabbed a to-go order. The employee who helped me, Kimberly, went above and beyond. I was confused about which breakfast item I actually wanted, but she patiently guided me to make the right choice and get the best deal. She delivered my food to the register with genuine warmth. Definitely coming back and really grateful for her helpfulness!
