I'm actually really mad about this. Got a Riddle bottle in a beauty subscription box a couple years back and never forgot how good it smelled. Loved it! This year I decided to treat myself and splurged on this pricey little bottle of body oil. Right after checking out, Riddle ads started popping up on social media everywhere. Checked the comments and they were full of people mentioning that Riddle changed their formula and the new stuff has zero smell. My bottle arrived today and I'm genuinely shocked this company would pull something like this. It smells like straight up mineral oil, nothing else. Put it next to an actual original bottle and it's embarrassingly weak on fragrance. There's basically no scent here at all, which is supposed to be the whole point of the product. For the price they're charging, customers deserve a luxurious oil blend that smells amazing. Seems like greed took over and now they want you buying their whole line just to get any kind of fragrance. Thanks a lot for killing my birthday gift to myself. Now I see why they don't do refunds.

Placed an order for riddle oil and the milky spray. Everyone saying the original has NO fragrance is right on the money. Now you'll notice they're pushing a NEW original scent with supposedly better fragrance. Think about it, why would they do that unless they got slammed with complaints about customers not smelling anything? Then I tried their EX body oil and roll on oil. Ordered February fourteenth and it sat in the Newark area for over two weeks, then bounced to Columbus Ohio where it's been stuck for two days. Today's March third and still hasn't arrived. Emailed their support team and got the usual response that there's nothing they can do. Won't be ordering from them again unless they offer actual shipping options. By the way, I live in New York, so why did my package go from Newark to Columbus?

Skip this product. I was a loyal customer back in 2019 and decided to buy again in 2020 because I absolutely loved it. When my order came in, something was off right away - the scent was basically nonexistent. I reached out to their support team but got nothing back. Fast forward to this year and I thought I'd give them another shot, but the same problem happened. No fragrance at all. This told me it wasn't a one-time fluke. I've tried emailing customer service multiple times now and still haven't heard anything. Only get this if you can physically test it in a store first, because I got burned twice by receiving bottles with zero actual scent.

Paid way too much for oil that has no scent. When I reached out about it, they wouldn't replace it or refund me. Had to go through my credit card company to get my money back. I told them I'd have been fine with just a replacement but they didn't care. Spent one hundred twelve dollars on oil and lotion that basically smell like the bottle they came in.

Got myself the sample kit with 8 different scents and honestly only 3 of them smelled decent. So I ordered Original, Poppy, and Muse oils separately. The fragrance came through pretty weak and faded fast, so I thought layering would help and grabbed the popular Original Milky Lotion and roll on version. Didn't work at all. Their whole thing about Original being a pheromone that you supposedly can't smell yourself is total nonsense. I feel like I got played and threw away my money. Not coming back for more.

Ordered an eight milliliter original roll on that came a week after my discovery set. Bought the bigger size because I was so impressed with the discovery set version. Looking at them side by side now, they smell totally different. Hit up their customer service by email and they just don't seem to get what I'm saying. These are clearly not the same product. The fragrance is different. The bigger bottle has basically no scent at all while the discovery size smells really nice. When I apply one on each wrist, I can only smell the discovery size. Every response from them is just some copy and paste template that somebody sends without really reading my message. I understand they market it as a light pheromone fragrance, but the problem is both bottles should smell the same and they absolutely do not. The eight milliliter one has nothing.

I really do love this product, the Original for sure, but I wanted to try Nude Beach without buying the whole sample kit since there's other stuff in there I'm not interested in. Really upset with how the Nude Beach turned out, now I'm sitting here with a sixty dollar item I can't use.

Don't throw your money at this. The fragrance barely lasts and they won't do refunds period. They'll tell you it's your skin pH or that you're not layering right. I know about fragrance since I worked in that industry and I'm an esthetician, so I definitely know what I'm talking about when it comes to how this stuff works.

Bought the Riddle Roll On Fragrance Oil Sample Kit that comes with 7 different fragrances. None of them work for me. All of them smell horrible and I had to wash them right off. Total waste of my money.

Really let down and the customer service was awful. My package never showed up and they flat out refused to send me another one. I explained how my area has similar addresses and mail gets mixed up all the time in our building. I even volunteered to cover the shipping myself if they'd use a different carrier like UPS or FedEx. They said yes at first, then came back saying they wouldn't resend it because they had no proof I didn't get it. Super rude, condescending tone, and they don't care whether you bought insurance or not, they keep your money and you get nothing. I had to call my credit card company to get a refund and I'm done ordering from this place. Plus don't waste money on their sample kit either. Only 2 scents are actually worth wearing, everything else is pretty rough. This is a scam operation.

The company refuses to give refunds apparently because there's basically no fragrance in their scented oils to begin with.

Heads up, buyers! I paid fifty eight dollars for the original scent roll on. Before I even tried it on, I took a whiff and realized I'd bought this exact same product elsewhere for thirty eight bucks, and that one was a full ounce while this Riddle bottle is only point twenty seven ounces. Asked about returning it and they told me no returns or exchanges allowed. Brand new product, won't take it back. Now I'm stuck with a sixty dollar tiny bottle of something I already own for less money from somewhere else. Turns out the original scent from Riddle is just a rebranded version of Seksi oil that gets pushed all over social media. I wanted to give people a heads up that Riddle is seriously overcharging for their original scent. Can't say anything about their other products since I'm never buying from them again.

This company is really good at marketing themselves and setting up policies that work in their favor. Their oils, including Original and a Nude Beach sample I got, literally smell like something your grandmother would have sitting on her shelf. The Nude Beach one was so nasty I had to shower to get it off and wound up with a headache that wouldn't go away for hours. I signed up for their subscription thinking based on all the hype reviews it would be perfect. Once I realized I'd never actually wear this stuff, I asked them to cancel, not even asking for my money back. They said no, their policy doesn't allow it. Now I've got over a hundred twenty bucks of perfume sitting here that I wouldn't even give to someone as a gift because I'd be embarrassed. I really don't like how they run their business, and frankly their scents are bad.

My daughter and I bought Riddle Oil for the first time during a trip to California and we both became obsessed with Muse. This year I grabbed the sample kits for my daughter, my daughter in law, and some friends as Christmas presents, and I'm hoping they're loving them as much as we do.

This company is fantastic. Their products are great and their customer service is top notch. They actually respond fast and treat you like a real person, not some automated response. I only get emails about actual deals and not a bunch of junk. I suggest them to friends all the time. The Original oil is so good, I get compliments on my scent all the time! Really love Riddle Oil!
