I've relied on FreshDirect for several years and everything about their service and products works for me. No issues, smooth experience from start to finish.

The leadership at this company has completely fallen apart. This year we ordered a much smaller Thanksgiving meal than we typically do because we've lost family members, including someone dealing with serious illness. Our order was packed at 1pm with a 2 to 6pm window, but we only got 2 of 22 items delivered at 1am. The driver said he didn't pick up the order until 8:30pm. The other 20 items never arrived. It's unacceptable to deliver food that late to people waiting for a holiday dinner. This is an absolute failure.

My orders keep showing up incomplete. Almost every third delivery I'm missing an item or two, yet I still get charged for them. Used to trust this service, but quality has declined and costs are steep. Customer support doesn't seem bothered when I bring this up. I'm done with them.

During quarantine I had to rely on online grocery delivery and was surprised the prices matched my local market but the produce quality was actually better. The drivers are fantastic, treating your doorstep like it's important and being courteous. Highly recommend.

Someone tried running a fraudulent charge on my card through this company. The transaction got blocked, which was lucky. I've heard others mention the same thing happening, which makes me wonder if there's an internal issue. I have no clue how they got my payment info.

I called customer support yesterday seeking portion details on some prepared meals I wanted to order for a family dealing with hospice care. The representative was dismissive and said the information was online. I explained I wouldn't be calling if I'd found it there. She looked into an example I mentioned, the eggplant parmigiana, and admitted the details aren't available on the website. She put me on hold to check with someone and then transferred me to a survey instead of helping. I called back this morning to place my order, and when I mentioned the earlier situation, someone transferred me to that survey again without warning. I immediately called back asking for a manager and got someone named Lindsay who seemed to track one down, but was told nobody was available. I'm really frustrated with how I've been treated.

Terrible experience with this company. They don't stick to their promised delivery windows, won't pick up the phone, don't respond to texts, and won't let you cancel orders even when they're late.

I cancelled my membership today. Their staff is incompetent and dishonest. The produce shows up rotten every week, orders are always missing items, drivers ignore my delivery notes, and I never get follow ups from management. On top of everything, not a single manager even tried to keep my business. Terrible outfit. I'm so glad I'm done with them.

Got sent to work as a driver through a staffing agency, but they told me I was supposed to arrive 2 hours earlier. They said I was a backup and might not have work. Three hours went by with nothing productive to do, no training on equipment, nothing. A woman named Sam eventually told me there might not be any shifts available. Meanwhile I heard customer complaints coming in constantly and the staff making nasty comments after hanging up with them. The office manager was taking smoke breaks every 15 minutes. To top it off, I wasn't paid for my time that day. Skip this company as both an employer and as a customer.

Pleasantly caught off guard by how good this service is. The variety is excellent, website is easy to use, and you can score some nice deals on certain items. They also carry the best bagels around. Across my 5 to 10 orders, only one thing was missing and getting credited for it was straightforward with no hassle.

When I called, they promised everything else was on another truck headed our way and assured us it'd arrive by 9pm. Total lie. Nothing ever came. This company is unreliable and I wouldn't recommend them.

Spent forever just getting a refund and reordering, only to discover the same stuff costs 30 bucks more now. Prices must have changed. I cancelled right away. Total waste of my time.
