About FRONTGATE
Frontgate specializes in home decor and furniture for shoppers seeking high-end, curated pieces to elevate their living spaces. The brand is known for quality home furnishings and seasonal collections, making coupon codes and promotions valuable for reducing costs on larger purchases.
How to Use a FRONTGATE Promo Code
- Visit frontgate.com and browse home decor or furniture categories, then add items to your cart.
- Proceed to checkout and review your order total before applying any promo code.
- Look for the promo code field on the payment page and enter your code exactly as written, including any capitalization or hyphens.
- Click apply or submit to confirm the code has been accepted and your discount appears in the order summary.
- Complete your purchase and verify your receipt shows the applied discount before closing the browser.
Promo Code Not Working? Try This
- Verify the code matches exactly what was provided, since codes are case-sensitive and even small typos will cause rejection.
- Check whether the code applies only to specific categories, items, or minimum purchase amounts that your order may not meet.
- Confirm the code has not already expired by checking the offer details before you attempt to use it.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try the code again, as stored data can sometimes interfere with promo application.
- Review the code terms to ensure it does not exclude sale or clearance items if those are in your cart.
- Contact Frontgate customer service with your code and order details if the code still refuses to apply after these checks.
FRONTGATE Savings Hacks
Frontgate often runs seasonal promotions on home decor and furniture. Check whether applying a percentage-off code to an already-discounted item yields better savings than using a fixed dollar amount, especially on larger purchases.
Furniture and large home decor pieces carry higher shipping costs. Taking advantage of free shipping offers can provide meaningful savings on orders that might otherwise incur substantial delivery charges.
Frontgate typically rewards newsletter subscribers with exclusive promo codes and early access to sales, often featuring discounts not advertised on the main site.
For high-ticket furniture items, a percentage-off code may outperform a fixed dollar amount, while smaller decor purchases may benefit more from dollar-off codes. Calculate both before applying to your cart.
FRONTGATE Shipping Policy
Frontgate offers various shipping options for home decor and furniture orders. Shoppers should review the shipping cost estimate at checkout, as rates vary by order size, weight, and delivery location. Many retailers in this category offer free shipping promotions on qualified orders, and checking your offer details before purchase can help minimize delivery expenses.
FRONTGATE Returns & Refund Policy
Returns for home decor and furniture typically require items to be unused and in original condition. Shoppers should review Frontgate's return policy for specific windows and any restocking fees that may apply, particularly for large furniture pieces. Customer reviews often mention return experiences, which can provide practical insight into the process.

FRONTGATE Reviews
Frontgate is rated 1.7 out of 5 by 23 shoppers, with a majority expressing serious dissatisfaction. Recurring complaints center on product quality issues, particularly with towels that fail to absorb water despite premium pricing, and problematic return policies that prevent refunds even within stated windows. Shoppers also report aggressive email marketing practices, restrictive coupon policies that prevent combining promotional offers, and packaging problems where items arrive glued or damaged. A small number of positive reviews highlight responsive customer service and willingness to replace defective items, though these instances appear to be exceptions rather than standard practice.
The store's 74 percent one-star rating reflects buyer frustration with the gap between advertised quality, prices in the $100 plus range, and actual product performance. Shoppers cite strict return policies, unsubscribe issues, and inflexible promotion terms as additional frustrations that compound negative experiences. While some customers report favorable resolutions when reaching out directly, the overall pattern suggests many feel the premium pricing and limited recourse options make purchases high risk.
Bought 4 high end bath towels that looked great but performed terribly and wouldn't absorb water properly. Wanted to return them within their advertised 90 day window but they refused because I'd used one of them. Plus they wanted me to pay for return shipping. To top it all off, when I was calmly explaining my concerns to a rep, they kept interrupting me in a rude and loud manner.
Purchased spa towels that are definitely thick and plush, but they won't actually dry you off. They just move water around on your skin instead of absorbing it. Paid over $100 for two towels so quality should be there. Due to their strict return policy I can't send them back. Really not worth the price for a non functional towel.
Really frustrated with their policy. I was planning to buy some nice outdoor furniture during their summer clearance event which advertised free shipping. They'd sent me a birthday promotion for $50 off, but apparently I couldn't use it with the free shipping offer. Why send out discount codes if you won't honor them when sales are happening? That makes no sense.
Made the mistake of buying towels from them. The towels were just okay but the email spam afterward was relentless. No matter how many times I unsubscribed nothing worked, and even the unsubscribe process was annoying instead of just one click. I got hammered with "sale ends today" emails constantly except the sale apparently never actually ends. I emailed to complain and that was also unnecessarily difficult. They obviously do this on purpose to keep email addresses active for their financial reports while irritating customers like me. It's frustrating to deal with a company that operates this way.
Purchased pool floats, noodles, and a storage stand all from this company. When the items arrived, the floats and noodles were permanently glued to the stand. I spent time trying to separate them and actually tore the plastic material on one float, ripping open the foam inside. Really disappointed. I have video evidence of what happened but they won't answer their phones to resolve it. I'm done with this company.
Amazing customer service experience. I bought a large teak outdoor dining set with 10 chairs about a year ago, then picked up 2 additional chairs as extras just in case. When I recently pulled out those backup chairs to oil them along with the main set, I noticed one had a structural issue underneath. Called the company and they shipped a replacement immediately, no questions asked even though it had been a full year. Really impressed with how they handled that. This is the kind of company that actually stands behind their products.
They shared my address with outside marketing companies just because I ordered fabric swatches. I use the company name in my mailing address to track who sells my information and sure enough, furniture catalogs from random companies I've never heard of started arriving addressed with Frontgate in the name. These aren't even from them. I'm upset about this invasion of privacy. Anyone ordering those swatches should know they'll get bombarded with junk mail afterward. On top of that, they said one color was backordered but two were ready to ship. After I gave my address, turns out all three colors weren't available for months for an actual cushion purchase. They never mentioned that delay upfront. Feels like they got my information just to sell it to other companies since that seems to be their real business model.
Don't buy their lighted Christmas decorations if you expect them to work for more than a couple years. We've been regular customers for over a decade but we're done. Back in 2019 we invested a fortune in their prelit collection including a 7.5 foot tree, 11 extra long garlands, 2 trees in planters, a wreath, and tons of ornaments. One garland failed within days but we thought it was a fluke. By 2023, my situation is ridiculous. The tree still works but out of 9 garland strands only 2 have working lights, my wreath stopped lighting last year, and most of the other decorations are pretty much dark. You can replace individual light strands which costs hundreds, or accept dim holidays. Even on sale, spending $200 on an unlit garland and wreath set is expensive. This is poor quality for the price point.
Been ordering for over ten years and continue to be pleased. The items are well made, arrive promptly, and their support team steps up when needed.
Ten plus years as a customer and still happy. The product quality stays consistent, deliveries arrive on schedule, and whenever I've had an issue their team has taken care of it right away.
Ordered two sofas and waited four months with five separate delays. After all that waiting, they just cancelled the entire order without properly handling it. I asked for replacement sofas that were actually in stock since the delay situation killed my trust in them, and I wanted to keep the same pricing we agreed on. The company never addressed these concerns or made it right. Had to manage without furniture for four months after moving with my family. The worst part was they didn't even seem concerned about how big of a problem this created for us.
Misleading pricing practices. Most retailers let you apply one promo code to a sale item with no problem. But this company treats every price reduction as a promotional offer even when there's no code involved, then pops up windows pushing you to sign up for emails or texts to get a 20% off code. When you actually try to use that single code, the item price reverts back to full price. There's nothing in the item description saying promo codes don't apply. I called their customer service and they insisted offers can't be combined, but I'm not trying to combine anything, just use one discount on a marked down item like any normal retailer would allow. This bait and switch approach is deceptive and not how other online stores operate.
Glad I haven't ordered yet. Their towels look nice but I can't justify the shipping costs. Why isn't shipping free when you're spending over $400? And then they raise the product prices when they advertise free shipping anyway which makes no sense. The whole model is overpriced. Plus reading all these reviews makes me certain they won't be getting my business.
The patio umbrella I ordered was delayed for three months because of a backorder situation, but aside from that the experience was fine. The product itself is nice.
So disappointed with how they handle customer service. I bought some patio items using a new customer 20% discount, then got a text the next day about a 25% off plus free shipping deal. I reached out to ask if I could get one of those offers instead, or at minimum the free shipping, and they said to send them the coupon code. Then started a week long back and forth that should have been resolved in one conversation if they'd bothered responding more than once daily. They kept saying I was using a different email as if that mattered when I had the order number and same phone number. When I asked to escalate to a manager, nothing happened and I'm still waiting. A few hundred dollars in sales lost over a simple customer service failure. Won't be buying from them again.
