User friendly and well built, with great guides and responsive support. It's an ideal booking and payment system for new companies trying to launch a service marketplace business.

It works well if you have simple requirements. However, for a global marketplace it's not the best fit. The way payments are processed, there are multiple currency conversions happening before the money reaches my account, which means I'm losing around 25% of revenue in conversion costs and fees. It's really frustrating. The support team responds quickly, but they can't really help with major issues like this.

At first the no-code option seemed kind of limiting, but once you spend time getting to know the platform (and they have a really thorough help center), plus you connect it with Zapier, it's actually quite powerful. Sharetribe's support has been fantastic the whole way through: they brought us up to speed when we started out, introduced us to Sharetribe Experts when we thought about going into dev mode, and gave us helpful guidance when we chose to stay with no-code. What really stands out? The people. Their support is genuinely outstanding. When you contact Sharetribe, you get real humans, not bots or generic links. They actually listen, understand what you're dealing with, and give you honest answers along with useful ideas. We're really grateful for that. And here's the kicker, about a month after we started building our marketplace, they rolled out a feature that was exactly what we needed. It shows they're paying attention and committed to growing with you. We feel confident they'll keep improving to fit our requirements exactly what a business partner should do. Excellent work.

I'd like to point out something pretty critical that's missing from this platform: inventory control. I was ready to sign up for a subscription when I realized while creating listings there's no way to set item quantities. This is basic inventory management stuff. I reached out to support asking if I was overlooking something, but nope, they confirmed it's just not built in. How is this not a feature? When you're listing items, there's no quantity option? That seems crazy. This is a huge missing piece in the marketplace system. You really need to add this feature immediately. Without it the whole thing feels incomplete and unfinished.

Really impressed with Sharetribe overall. Their support team is incredibly helpful, gets back to you right away, and clearly knows their stuff. Just excellent all around.

Way overpriced with a rude support staff. They prioritize their own growth over helping customers develop their businesses. You'd be better off exploring alternatives like bubble instead.

This is an excellent platform with really solid features and a sleek interface. It's been super valuable for growing my business.

Honestly, not worth the money. Looking at their website, it hasn't really changed in like over a decade. Total letdown. Their Go product feels insulting. Either you're stuck with an outdated, ugly looking site from the 90s or you fork over serious cash for their Flex option plus developers and transaction fees. You could hire a solid developer independently to build a custom marketplace for way cheaper. Oh, and they claim their Go version is completely customizable with tons of capabilities, but when you talk to actual developers, you find out that's not really the case. They updated one font as an upgrade on Go and acted like it was a big deal. Look, if you've got tens of thousands lying around to test out ideas, maybe their Flex product works. But at that price point, you might as well build from scratch using other tools or get a developer to make something custom. The Go option works functionally, sure, but that's where it ends. Beyond that it's pretty bad. It doesn't feel trustworthy at all, looks outdated and sketchy. Come on, guys, put some actual effort into improving how this looks.

I'm genuinely impressed with what the Sharetribe crew is accomplishing. Their website is great, the platform is fantastic, and the support and customer care are outstanding. My experience has been nothing but positive so far, and I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone wanting to launch a peer-to-peer marketplace.
