Really unhappy with my experience with an employee named Mark at the Texas location. The service was poor and his attitude wasn't great. I ordered a specific spare tire package that clearly showed the rim included in the pictures. When I went to pick it up, there was no rim. I politely asked about it and he treated me like I was dumb for expecting the rim I paid for. I kept pointing to my receipt that showed the tire WITH rim and he just got annoyed, wouldn't respond, and seemed irritated when I asked for my money back. If you go to this location, I'd suggest steering clear of Mark.

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt I had to speak up about this. Bought the same high end Michelin tires with 70,000 mile warranties at a Discount Tire store for two different cars. Won't be going back. First problem was that after about halfway through their lifespan, all four tires on one vehicle started cupping on the inside edges at the same time. The location had done tire rotation and balancing during my last service visit, but the manager basically blamed me for not maintaining my tires properly. I got those replaced at another shop and those new tires have over 15,000 miles with zero problems. Second issue was on my other car when a screw caused a slow leak. Same Discount Tire location immediately said the tire was done for because of the screw. My new tire guy took one look and said the screw was actually in the tread, not the sidewall, and fixed it on the spot. So much for their discount pricing.

For example, the Pirelli 275 slash 55 R21 tire was specifically designed for a certain truck model years ago, yet you see no reviews from actual owners of that vehicle. The fact that this Pirelli doesn't come with a tread warranty is telling, especially since mine only lasted 20,000 miles. Meanwhile, a Michelin model that just came out less than a year ago has tons of great reviews. But again, none from the truck owners you'd expect to see.
