Tesla Reviews
Tesla receives sharply polarized feedback, with roughly two-thirds of reviewers giving five-star ratings while one-third report serious problems. Satisfied customers appreciate the brand and products, but dissatisfied shoppers consistently cite customer support failures as their primary complaint. Issues include unresponsive service teams after purchase, inability to resolve technical problems with vehicles and equipment, long delays on administrative tasks like charger transfers, and perceived lack of accountability or professionalism once payment is processed.
The pattern across negative reviews suggests a disconnect between the sales experience and post-purchase support. Customers report that communication ceases or becomes non-responsive immediately after order completion and payment. Specific complaints range from vehicle defects (windshield wipers, hard braking issues) that service departments decline to fix, to Powerwall units that malfunction with only workaround solutions rather than repairs. These recurring service and support issues appear to be the driving factor in the lower ratings, despite apparent product appeal.
Really let down by Tesla's customer support here. It's been over six weeks now, and despite calling support numerous times and sending multiple emails, I still haven't gotten my charger ownership transferred. The previous owner completed the transfer request in the app on their end, which should have been a simple handoff. Nothing's happened. Each support interaction gets me either unclear responses or more waiting, with zero transparency about next steps. For a business known for being forward-thinking, this kind of administrative bungling is pretty disappointing. Moving ownership should be quick and easy, not a two month saga with repeated contacts. This whole thing has been a real headache and makes Tesla look bad. I expected better service from a company with their standing.
Unfortunately the service quality has been disappointing. Everything was fine until I placed my order and processed payment, then nobody responds to my calls. I'd expect more professional service, dependability, and accountability from Tesla, which unfortunately isn't happening.
The service quality is unfortunately poor. Everything ran smoothly up until the moment I finalized my order and paid. After that, nobody picks up when I call. I was looking for better professionalism, trustworthiness, and accountability from Tesla, but that's just not what I got.
Bought a new Model Y and have been dealing with major problems that Tesla's service department won't fix. Windshield Wipers and Safety Concerns: The wipers malfunctioned from day one. In a place like Denmark where rain is constant, that's a genuine safety hazard. Additionally, my vehicle started hard braking randomly and unexpectedly, putting me in genuine danger. I've made about 10 phone calls, sent countless messages, and followed up for roughly three months but nothing's been fixed. I couldn't use the driver assistance feature because the wipers couldn't clear the sensor lens. Their suggestion? Manually clean the windshield during operation!!! Who cleans a windshield in heavy rain while driving? Front Glass Damage: Then the windshield spontaneously cracked after I turned the AC on during cold weather. There were no vehicles near me. It was a sharp bang, almost like an explosion, and a fracture appeared instantly. Tesla refused to take responsibility and claimed an external impact caused it, which makes no sense since nothing could have hit it.
When things go wrong, there's basically zero support. I have two Powerwall 2 units that ran great for the first ten months. Then one started disconnecting during the charging cycle. Rather than fixing it, they just adjusted the settings so it charges slower now. That means I can't fully charge them at night anymore since the Gateway caps the flow at 8 or 9 kw per cycle. What really gets me is how they don't respond at all. I reported this issue nearly two months ago and got only a ticket number in return. Nearly 27 grand spent on the setup and they act like they couldn't care less. This malfunction is costing me money every month and they won't lift a finger.
I'm totally obsessed with my Cybertruck. Honestly wasn't sure what to think when I got it, but I've had it over a year now and it's hands down my favorite vehicle I've ever had. Lots of folks get caught up in politics or resistance to EVs or just the shock of something different. The Cybertruck truly delivers on the promise. It's ridiculously fast, surprisingly quiet, and feels like a tank that was built right. The steel body draws stares everywhere, and while it looks tough as nails, the ride is unbelievably comfortable. Inside, there's way more room than you'd think and everything's laid out well. The interface is easy to understand, which tracks with Tesla's reputation, and turning that big truck around is surprisingly tight. You want to talk about off road? Absolutely wild. I've tackled terrain I would've never tried with a regular 4x4. But honestly what makes it stand out most is how incredibly enjoyable it is to drive. It's like driving a futuristic armored vehicle that also happens to be a rocket ship. And it can haul anything. It's definitely unconventional and not everybody's cup of tea, but it ought to be. For me it's the most thrilling, capable, and next-gen vehicle I've had the pleasure to own.
Got my Powerwall 2 set up back in early February and have been thoroughly impressed. Five star experience across the board, both with the installation and how intuitive it is to use. I'm kind of surprised by all the negative feedback I see online about this company. Must've gotten pretty lucky with mine.
Really pleased with how everything turned out. I've gotta say my Model 3 totally exceeded my expectations. There were a couple tiny things when it first arrived, but the staff at the London Park Royal Tesla Centre took care of them right away. For city driving around London, the range feels plenty sufficient.
Tesla is fantastic! Really cutting edge and innovative, though they do deliver a bit later than planned.
Had the absolute best experience buying a car at the Tesla showroom in Winchester, England. Jack was incredible. Other dealerships I've visited couldn't be bothered to engage with me, but Tesla and Jack were on another level entirely. I pulled out my debit card faster than I ever have before. That's coming from someone who doesn't say that lightly.
