When I arrived in Stockton to return the vehicle, I discovered the Palo Alto location had made a booking mistake, documenting my return location incorrectly. The Stockton manager hit me with an extra $150 charge. She suggested if I didn't like it, I could drive all the way back to Palo Alto and discuss it with the original agent. I paid the fee and got a cab back to my car. Later when I reached out to Hertz corporate with my complaint, they refunded the $150 right away, but the service I received at that Stockton location was terrible. That manager should not be in her position. I won't be renting from Hertz again.

His patience and composure throughout the whole process were incredible. He got everything fixed up and the pricing was surprisingly reasonable for the effort he put in.
