They're refusing to refund my $35 unless they receive the box back themselves. From who? Nobody has it, and I'm pretty sure it was never shipped in the first place. This is a fantastic business that carries real British food. Their service is really great. We used to live near their warehouse but relocated to Tennessee. Even from here, I can order with confidence that it'll show up safe and fast. Don't pay attention to those 1 star reviews!
Ordered near the end of December and had two shipping options. Since I needed it for an event, I chose overnight delivery with a promised arrival date of January 5th for a $75 shipping fee. Nothing was showing in my tracking apps from any carrier. I emailed and filled out their contact form on January 5th. No response. Same thing on the 8th. By January 9th I filed a PayPal dispute and escalated it since I didn't need the stuff anymore. Suddenly within hours they send notice the items are shipping. It's clear they only moved when the chargeback hit. They didn't even bother reading that I no longer wanted the order. To make it worse, they shipped it the day before a major winter storm was supposed to hit their area. You'd think they'd add extra protection knowing there could be weather delays, but nope, just 3 ice packs for 6 frozen items and called it done. This was my second order and my last. The first one was just as bad.
Got my order after more than a week went by, and some items were missing. The box of Scottish Shortbread for $19.90 was mostly broken, and 2 pasties had their pressed edges snapped off. It's clear they just threw everything in without wrapping things properly for protection.
I bought what I thought and what the website showed as Coleman's products from the UK. Instead I got items made in the USA from Seven Nations Food Distributors in New York. Classic switcheroo. I've kept photos of my order receipt showing Coleman's products and photos of the actual item labels I received in case I need them. Shop somewhere else if you want honest UK products.
If negative stars were possible, I'd give them that. Got a box of Easter candy and one of the Lucozade cans inside had gotten crushed, leaking all over everything and creating a huge sticky orange mess. When I opened the box it was literally dripping. This wasn't a shipping company problem, it was the warehouse staff being careless and just tossing things in without any care. There wasn't even a quality check sheet included, which says everything.
