Sorted by: Most recentThe food showed up warm when it arrived. They should've been more careful about keeping things cold or frozen during shipping. I ordered sausage rolls but got Irish Banger Rolls instead, which are completely different products. Sausage rolls have seasoned ground pork in flaky pastry, while what I received was a sausage in a flat pastry roll. That's not right at all. Plus these Banger Rolls need to be cooked from frozen, which doesn't work when they arrive at room temperature. Are you supposed to refreeze them before cooking? I'm really unhappy about this order and won't be buying again.
Placed a big order for Christmas and only got half of it. Called them right away. Their phone line never answered, and they didn't reply to texts or emails even when I tried multiple times over two weeks. Thankfully I used PayPal or I'd never have gotten my money back.
Many items in my order had already expired. After I messaged them about it, they asked me to send everything back at my own cost, which wasn't okay given how expensive their shipping is already.
Their products are top notch and the speed is incredible. This is my go-to place for British items. My only wish is that they'd start stocking Scottish Meat Pies. I'm hoping they'll add that to their selection soon.
I ordered on the 11th and got a shipping notification on the 14th. It's now the 5th and it still hasn't shown up. I sent an email asking about the delay but got nothing back. Won't order from them anymore.
I ordered items listed as 'in-stock' on the 30th. I paid their high shipping costs ($25 for items and $13.50 for shipping) and checked on January 10th. All 4 items now showed 'Out of Stock' and my order wasn't fulfilled. Customer Support said their inventory system is up to date and items were reserved for me. Well, it's too late because my guests are leaving this weekend and I don't need this stuff anymore. I cancelled and I'm waiting for my refund.
Steer clear of this company. I paid for a subscription box that I never got in the mail, and I didn't get any notification from them or the post office either. The status shows as 'unknown.' They're refusing to refund my $35 unless they receive the box back themselves. From who? Nobody has it, and I'm pretty sure it was never shipped in the first place. I've decided to take legal action because I'm tired of asking nicely. This is straight up unfair to customers. It's unfortunate and stingy of them to hold onto money like their business depends on it.
This is a fantastic business that carries real British food. Their service is really great. We used to live near their warehouse but relocated to Tennessee. Even from here, I can order with confidence that it'll show up safe and fast. Don't pay attention to those 1 star reviews!
Ordered near the end of December and had two shipping options. Since I needed it for an event, I chose overnight delivery with a promised arrival date of January 5th for a $75 shipping fee. Nothing was showing in my tracking apps from any carrier. I emailed and filled out their contact form on January 5th. No response. Same thing on the 8th. By January 9th I filed a PayPal dispute and escalated it since I didn't need the stuff anymore. Suddenly within hours they send notice the items are shipping. It's clear they only moved when the chargeback hit. They didn't even bother reading that I no longer wanted the order. To make it worse, they shipped it the day before a major winter storm was supposed to hit their area. You'd think they'd add extra protection knowing there could be weather delays, but nope, just 3 ice packs for 6 frozen items and called it done. This was my second order and my last. The first one was just as bad.
