RefrigiWear receives consistently poor feedback from shoppers, with a 1.3 rating based on 4 reviews. Recurring issues include misleading product claims (items advertised as American-made but manufactured overseas), significant delays in refund processing (taking three weeks or longer), poor website functionality (checkout errors preventing purchases), and unhelpful customer support. International orders face additional complaints about unexpected tax and shipping charges, as well as non-reimbursement of taxes paid.
Shoppers report that products fail to meet advertised performance standards, with jackets providing insufficient warmth and gloves exhibiting poor construction quality. Return processes are described as slow and cumbersome, and inventory management appears problematic, with shipment tracking and delivery timelines falling short of expectations. Overall, customers indicate frustration with both product quality and the company's handling of customer service issues.

Sorted by: Most recentThese products didn't live up to the hype at all. The jacket wasn't nearly warm enough and the gloves were terrible quality. They advertise American-made items, but both pieces I got were manufactured in China. Returned everything through their system with proper tracking, but three weeks later my refund still hadn't shown up. Had to call them to find out what was happening. When they finally processed it, they deducted a fee for restocking. Not dealing with them anymore.
Ordering from the UK turned out to be a nightmare. The site didn't make it clear upfront that I'd be charged extra taxes and shipping fees. When I tried to send my item back, the process took forever - 20 days just to get my refund processed. And they wouldn't even reimburse the tax I paid. Their customer support was basically worthless when I tried to get help with any of this.
Attempted to buy a jacket during their 25% off promotion and nothing but problems. Tried placing the order five different times and kept hitting a 'verify your account' error. By the time I got help from their team, the sale was almost over. All I got back was a generic 'we're looking into it' message. Customer service is horrible - they clearly don't care about helping customers. No follow-up, no phone answers, just nothing.
This company is a total mess. Ordered a winter parka right before Christmas from their 1954 line, and I've never seen worse inventory management. I had packages come from Italy and France that arrived before this coat, and it was supposedly coming from a US warehouse. Called multiple times asking for updates - got vague answers about it shipping 'soon' every single time. A month goes by and finally they admit they don't even have the item in stock. By then the holiday sales ended and I'm stuck in DC without winter gear while it's freezing. Spent hours on the phone with their customer service team who seemed nice enough but were completely useless. They held onto my money for a full month for something they never had. Absolutely unacceptable.
