My boyfriend surprised me with the Zelda Deku Tree for Christmas. We eventually received an email stating the package was shipped and heading our way. Christmas rolled around but UPS never delivered anything. I reached out to customer support and learned that the item had never actually shipped at all. That email about it being sent? Pure fabrication. They claim things are on the way when they're just sitting in inventory. This is ridiculous.

This shouldn't happen from a company the size of LEGO. Really let down by the whole situation. My trust in LEGO has been seriously damaged. Pick a different retailer if timing is important to you.

I placed an order for a couple of items that showed as available on October 8th. On October 11th they sent an email saying it was being prepped for shipment. After that, complete silence. I chatted with support on October 20th and they blamed the carrier but promised I'd get an update within two days. Never happened. I sent an email and tried the chat again, now I'm holding on the phone waiting to talk to someone and I've already been on hold for almost twenty minutes. Come on, LEGO. This was supposed to be a birthday gift and I can't just go buy another expensive set elsewhere to replace it. Just give me an update on what's happening. It's not cool to leave customers hanging like this.

LEGO is an incredible company overall. They're always responsive when I need help, orders arrive fast, and visiting both LEGO House and Legoland have been awesome adventures. Those attractions are really well done and the value you get at LEGO House is outstanding.

I ordered an expensive LEGO set as a birthday present and it arrived with damage to both the outer shipping box and the inner LEGO packaging. Obviously this was caused during transport, completely out of LEGO's hands. When I called customer service, they were absolutely phenomenal. No hassle at all, just immediate willingness to fix it. The item was backordered but they got a replacement on order for me. The agent even asked about the birthday person's age and interests, then offered to throw in a free complementary set as an apology, which they shipped right away. They also sent me a free return label to send back the damaged box. I was able to track everything in my account without any fuss. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. That's what excellent customer service looks like. Top notch LEGO experience.

What makes LEGO special is that genuinely anyone can have fun with it. A toddler can enjoy LEGO just as much as someone's grandparent. Most toy companies can't say that, but LEGO nails it. Their whole thing is bringing fun to everybody no matter what age you are, and they deliver on that promise.
