Really worried about the ticket sharing feature on their app. The shared link is way too simple and guessable with just seven characters, and barely masks any of my info on the confirmation page. Zero extra security measures. No login required, no two factor authentication or anything. Everything is right there in plain text: movie location, my home area code, last four of my debit card, full name, email address, and even a direct link to the barcode. I can see the source code, and there's a ton of personal data just sitting there as plain text javascript with zero encryption or obfuscation. No real security at all. Someone could easily guess that short link and grab everything. Web scrapers would have a field day with this.

Felt pressured to use this service just to buy a ticket. They automatically send marketing emails with no real way to unsubscribe, which shows they don't respect what customers actually want.

About a month before the new Superman movie hit theaters, I noticed the Fandango Fanstore had a bundle deal with a ticket, hat, poster, and a limited edition comic book (only 1000 made). Being a huge comic fan and wanting my five kids to each have one of those special comics, I spent over $350 on six bundles. Took over six weeks to arrive at my house. When I finally opened everything, they left out the comic books. I called customer support and they told me since they use a third party for shipping and delivery, once the package reaches your door they're not responsible for what's inside. I asked if they sent me a completely empty box, would I have no way to get my money back? Their answer was basically yes.

Absolutely terrible experience! I paid for a movie but every time I try to play it, I get an error message. Can't even watch what I bought.
